Thank you for the invite. I will enjoy listening to all the Nutrition Folks. With everything so expensive it is important to make each dollars spent on something the does the body good. Linda

MaryMiller 2008 invited me to join this group. I was informed to change what I eat in 1990 ( heart disease). I recently had a Dr. suggest that I watch what I eat because I am a diabetictype 2. My husband does all the cooking. Sally

Thanks for inviting me to join the group. I'm frustrated and a bit overwhelmed with my recent diagnosis. I am finding it extremely difficult to comply with my diet restrictions. I hope someone here can offer some suggestions.

Problem: Kidney failure due to high blood pressure. I have only 12% function left in one kidney and the other has quit completely. If I lose another 2% of function, I will have to start dialysis.

Primary concern: Eliminate salt in all forms. The even add sodium to bottled water!

Hi. My name is Lori and I live in Illinois. I have no formal education in the area of nutrition, but I have been interested in the topic ever since I lost about 40 pounds in high school. I recently joined Eons, and I look forward to participating in some of the discussions.
