Frog Pond!

Hi All ~
Happy Holidays!
Just thought I'd mention the Frog Pond is open to skaters. It is loads of fun, and if you do not own a pair of skates, you don't have an excuse as you can rent ice skates there. It is one of the least expensive, fun activities in the City of Boston these days. Add the holiday lights to the atmosphere.. it's classic!

And even if you don't skate, it's fun to just find a bench and watch the skaters for a while.

I have fond memories of the frog pond from the 1 year that I lived in Boston. I lived in the north end and loved Boston.

I remember taking my little boy to the frog pond when he was 2-5 (35 years ago! how can that be???). He still remembers it and takes his boys there!

Boston is such a wonderful place to have little kids. Now that I'm a grandma, I'm reliving a lot of the great children's places.

Time slips away from us Ri. I might take the train in to Boston one day and just walk around the North End, have lunch at Faneuil Hall. I do remember going to the shell on the 4th of July...........boy, those were the days.
