Sick of ebay

Yikes; yet another non-paying bidder. Sure is tiring when ebay still charges listing fees when you get stiffed by buyers. I see why they do it to prevent people from selling outside of ebay and getting fees. But now that you will have to pay with Paypal only, shouldn't be as much of a problem. ebay will soon be double-dipping in a major way by requiring Paypal payments, which aren't cheap to sellers.

I am sick to death of them also. I have quit selling on ebay because you can not make a profit good enough to offset the costs and the hassel. The fees and the shipping costs and the demand of the customers who only want to spend less than $9.99 for almost anything. I have been selling on ebay for over 5 years and the difference is huge in how we started and what we now have to endure. it is no longer even what it started out to be, the largest garage sale. now the retailers dominate it. bye bye Ebay.

I'm doing what I think will be my last round of ebay sales. I signed up for another one and I'm going to start listing on it next. Screw ebay....oh wait....they probably charge for that.

I think all of us sellers are sick of it. Did anyone notice when you give free shipping with your item the buyers ignore the "star" to report shipping cost. They figure it doesn't matter or that they don't have to so they do not fill it in. Also making buyers pay with paypal only...most do but there are some who do not have or want to use credit cards or their bank account for payment. I think they should have a choice if the sellers allow it.

I have tried and tried to sell anything on Ebay and I just end up paying fees to Ebay and never have sold anything. Am I wasting my tyime or what??? I am not a rich person or I would have an Ebay site of my own and not need them. So anyone have a suggestion??

I signed up for another site that was recommended her a while back, and I never sold on it and forgot the name...it was something like zbay? Dang. I'm running a bunch of auctions right now and they may be the last. I do better at yard sales.

I've been lucky in that I haven't had any NPBs in a long time. I wonder if certain types of merchandise attract NPBs more than other types?
