I've just joined Eons, and just now found the "Kidneys and Dialysis" group. I see that you posted your message 70 something days ago. I hope you are still checking in now and then.
I am on peritoneal dialysis. My kidneys failed 2 years ago. So far I have had three fistulas built, and two peritoneal dialysis tubs put in. I had two permcaths while the peritoneal problems were being worked out.
When I was doing hemo, I got migraines and nausea. I was in clinic 3 times a week for 4 hours each time. I find peritoneal dialysis better for me, but I wish I didn’t have to do any of it ever! I am on the waiting list, but I doubt that will ever happen. But, who knows!
