Thank you for sharing this, Vicki. Writing a good query letter that will sell your book can be harder than writing the book itself! We all can use good ideas on this subject! :)

Personally I think they are a waste of time to have, I have written 100 query letter for my first self published book, I received back that they were not interested in.Then I self published. That was an expensive jesture. well Now Mr. Dave tells me that I did not know who to go to, thanks Dave I should have listened to you, but God made me do wrong then he found you to me. Blessings seems like that they come after the fact always.! Well, I will not writer query letters anymore, I will just go to Mr. Dave instead I have alot of wacky stories and ideas which turn out to be funny some not so funny and some other stuff...

I have had a very interesting life so far and getting better al the time!
