Morning,
Here in San Antonio the weather is hot and humid. It has been in the 90's but the heat index is much hotter. We are expected to get some rain soon. The weather is going to be perfect for the backyard pool party and BBQ we have planned for this weekend. The only problem is that I get sunburned so easily. That might be one of those age things that I am not familiar with. So the sunblock and the insect repellant are going to be a must. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I am going to try out the new mojito receipe I got from Grupo Latino. See Ya'll.

Here in Ensenada it's been very mild. Nothing drastic...hardly any rain last winter, and most of the time it's just sunny, which really makes me miss the green and the changes in the Pacific Northwest where I'm from!
Here at the southern end of the SF Bay the summer weather pattern has set in which is to say there will be no appreciable rainfall til about November and until then the days will be mild and the nights will pleasantly cool and the weather man has nothing to do but repeat the same forecast day after day for about the next 3 months. You know what I miss? Texas thunderstorms, believe it or not.
We in SA got a wierd thunderstorm. I was out on one side of town and heard all the thunder but the sun was bright and sunny. When we drove to another side of the city I noticed the cars were wet. When I got home my drive way was wet but my plants seemed dry. This morning I am told we got lots of rain but it looks bright and sunny to me. Who knows what really happened???

Right now, I am living in Arizona, I say right now because I am more of a gypsy, and I get tired of living in one place for to long, and then I have to move on. However, I hear the weatherman say that it will be 108 degrees Thursday; I think I shall lie naked in a cold tub all day Thursday, since I do not have a pool “I wish I new Alejandro Fernández” so we could lie together”
Pablo, i miss the smell of the southwest..the wet soil smell is very unique..
Miss Polly..that's funny
We were in SF in July and it was COLD!! people were wearing parkas! We were very surprised. I had packed for warm weather. When is it WARM in SF?!??!
Mark Twain once said that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. It never gets warm there. I'm about 40 miles south of SF, a bit warmer here.
Ms Polly I will have Alejandro call you. Only you will have to have something cold waiting as he hates the heat..
