projects

Hello - hope everyone is enjoying their day today - it is so beautiful here in the Ozarks and the weather a constant surprise, and not very cooperative some days when people are working with a deadline etc.

For the next week at least, unless I am at work, I will not be online much. I finished the projects I had, thought I could take a break, but no, not to be.

A co-worker passed away suddenly a couple of weeks ago and I have been trying to help his daughter take care of a few things as she is about 5 hours away with a full time job. We spent yesterday ( in the spitting snow ) moving his stuff from where he had been living ( and the other tenants there broke in, stole, vandalized and tried to keep his stuff ) to my house and safety.

She has packed up what she wants and I have agreed to finish the rest - and it's all packed full ! I am working against the weather - supposed to be kind of warm this week. Plus, she needs to sell the truck and boat, it has cost her a fortune to deal with all this.

I have to winterize the boat - anyone have any suggestions for me ? ? ? I have never owned a boat so have no clue, it has not been well taken care of past year, he was sick. It is a 1985 Mcgreagor sailboat. We are going to lift the mast tomorrow if weather is nice and check the sails. There is some painting on some of the wood for ? - no clue just know it's wood and in desperate need of paint. The upper part of the body - fiberglass ? - is speckeled ( best word I can think of. And, am sure the inside is trashed.

Most of this I have to do as Steve is having to move our business, both of us working full time. steve will work with getting the truck ready to sell, it's a 78 Ford stepside - not gas friendly ;~) yeah, it moves !

I have to get the 5th wheel cleaned out so I can get our friend off my living room couch ! I get the 5th wheel for all my work with the other stuff.

So, will check on the groups I own or moderate daily, but probably not be online much - too much to do.

What's that saying - no rest for the wicked ?

hugs and blessings ......
