you can do this all around where you live, I put a flier up at the supermarket, and a few around town, my family and friends, neigbors, all jumped in for their children, also, I have started selling on e-bay -- is sooo easy!! I listed some WW ll medals my father had, started them at $4.95, each sold for $30.00 - $40.00, I was amazed!!
Video games, especially those games that are played on your pc, sell very well.

Hi everyone!

First, an answer to how to make a link show up as "view link" on Eons. It's very easy just type in your entire web address..http:// My Candle Cart. com of course don't leave the spaces. Occasionally it doesn't work, you can check this by looking at the "edit" before you post.

Next, how to tell if a company is trustworthy. Here is a good article on my web-site to help you with a few nain things to look for
view link
Another thing that I like to do is be able to make a phone call to the CEO or head of the company.

* make sure that there is a product involved, and make sure that it's something that you yourself would pay for and use.

* be sure that you product is consumable. Something people want or need on a regular basis. This way, as you grow your business, you are also adding customers that will return.

* Are the products special and not found everywhere? I sell candles, at first glance you would think.....candles are sold EVERYWHERE!! However, our candles are unique, they're made from a formula of vegetable waxes. This allows them to hold more scent, burn clean (no black soot) burn cool and even (they burn with nothing wasted, the jar is clear above your burn line and they last a long long time)

* Adequate Management Team. Very very important. Investigate the owners, look for their history. Call and talk with the person that will be your sponcer......are they knowledgeable, do you feel comfortable with them? Are they easy to contact? This person will be important to your success. Be sure that training is plentifull, ongoing, and free.

* Make sure that there is a oood profit margin. With our company most products you'll have a 100% markup.

* Make sure that the business will work for your style. So many home based or network marketing businesses have LOTS of rules. We set our own prices, sell almost anywhere (but, there is no place you HAVE to sell at) We have absolutely no quotas beyond the Candle of The Month program. Many people join as a way to get their own candles at a discount price!!

* What is the industry. Is it an Industry that has already peaked or been reduced by Technology? We represent 2 industries! 1. Network Marketing Industry. Word of mouth referral. It's been around for over 50 years. 2. Candle Industry. Annual candle sales in the US are estimated at nearly 3 Billion Dollars. As I said above, we are unique. Gourmet candles represent the first innovation in candle making in 150 years!

* Many ways that you can make money. We retail our candles (obviously) Fundraising. Lots of people sure need this right now and are very open to your help. Residual or Ongoing commissions. This is where you recieve an overide on the people that you bring into and train for the company......every time that they place an order. This is ongoing.....forever, even if you decide to stop working actively. This income can be willed to your heirs. Remember, you CAN do all of this, but never will be pressured. You really are the boss and owner with this business.

* Additional sources of income. These are bonuses. In Scent-Sations we have a car bonus, one time advancement bonuses, monthly leadership bonus pool, monthly bonus pool available your first month and every month there after!

* Timing. Is this the right place and the right time for you. We are a young growing company, with only a small percentage of the marketplace right now. We have already survived the growing pains of start up and can only grow stronger in the future (Scent-Sations is 5+ years old) History has shown that when a company reaches momemtum, the people that are established in that company are in a position to make generational wealth!!

This has been a long read. I hope that I've been able to answer some of your questions as to what to look for, or what NOT to fall for in a business opportunity search.

A review of SFI

I have been an SFI affiliate since July 2001, and I have gotten paid every single month for the last 100 months. These checks have ranged from $9 to $2000, going up and down over the years according to how much work I was doing. The checks are small now, as I am no longer actively working the business.

But I can say unequivocally that it is a legitimate company offering a "business opportunity."

As Emma says, you want to look carefully and see the difference between an "opportunity" and a "job".

Now, as a disclaimer, I have to say I had an extraordinary stroke of luck at the beginning of my involvement with SFI that probably could not be duplicated anymore, that resulted in my getting around 40 EAs (called MIQs back in the day) right off the bat. So I don't want you to get the idea that you can just join and people will flock to you and you will make a fortune.

I certainly wouldn't quit my day job just yet. :-)

But if you are seriously interested in internet marketing, it is a great place to get training - which alone is worth the $29.95 IAHBE membership, even if you don't make any money.SFI is worldwide, another plus, and offers a number of ways you can make money, including retailing various products.

Cheers,

Susan

Have you heard of Site Build It?

Site Build It (SBI) is an all in one e-business creation system for building successful online businesses. Some people think it is just a web host, but it is so much more.

Everyone on the Net (myself included) is suspicious of any offer. SBI is very legitimate as witnessed by the fact that it is taught at over 25 colleges and universities. You can verify this at

view link

SBI is like a self study e-business course. When you finish, you have a successful website.

My personal testimonial for SBI is that I have built four Site Build It websites, and I am planning another one in the near future.

Linda and I just built another website, and we are holding a drawing for a free SBI ($299 value) to celebrate. We invite you to register for the drawing at

what work at home jobs are their??

can anybody work them??

The most common work-at-home job I know of is CSR or Customer Service Rep. There are many companies across the US who may have some in-house positions, will contract out to home-based reps. The companies are paid by firms who use them for taking surveys, customer complaints, taking reservations, and other functions.

One company that I keep hearing about is West, but I don't have a link Visit view link and search for CSR or customer service positions. I'm not affiliated with them, just passing it along.

I would imagine that there are far more home-based people in self-employment or contract worker positions than are in actual jobs. There are a number of factors that distinguish between an employee and a contract agent. I've been a contract agent for the past 24 1/2 years. The most obvious distinction is that contract workers receive a Form 1099, instead of a W-2, and have no income taxes withheld from their pay or commission check. And those who use contract agents can't set specific work hours, along with many other restrictions.

One site you can visit and see a wide range of home-based and/or small business opportunities is view link . They recently held the annual Top 100 Home-Based businesses . Search through the 1000+ submissions to see some surprising ideas that won and many others that didn't. My business was #599 in order of submission (not placement).

FriendsinBusiness.com is an anti-scam site that can help you avoid some of the more commonly promoted bizopp scams and schemes. Check it out and post the Opportunity you need info on before committing time and money to some business-in-a-box you haven't checked out thoroughly.
