Ancient City Uncovered In Rome

I just love stories like this one!

* Workers find vast complex of tombs that mimic houses and streets of real city
* Medieval pottery suggests city of dead was inhabited during Dark Ages
* Separate dig uncovers tomb of close aide to Emperor Marcus Aurlelius

See, I bounced from one group to another to greet you, Goddess 2. Here, too , I'm into both of the interests which were given in that message. I wanted archaeology in college but a prerequisite was anthropology. That was at a time when my auricular senses were failing. The instructor was a couple years younger than I and he made allowances. He was a great one for giving methods to the class that had to be remembered word for word. Except for Lincoln's second inaugural address, I'd not done that. We studied the lifestyle of the Yanomamo people in the Amazon headwaters.
I visited Rome for a little over a week in 1945 and walked over all seven hills. Today it has changed but little but they're still looking. The place I visited a lot was Capri. BTW, one place in Rome they had on the History Channel on TV was about Circus Maximus and how IT is buried.
