Hi folks,
Well I am disgusted and I live in a disgusted state!!! Wow that is pretty bad huh? What I don't understand is why everone gets so worked up over who is going to live in that beautiful house at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. when we that he or she can't do squat, nothing...nada...zip....squash, without the house and congress voting on it and allowing it. Now I know who I am going to vote for but I'm not going to get upset because I believe that God is in control of all of it anyway. Just my opinion....gotta love me.

Which God? That may be the question. I think that the premise that the Pres. is just a powerless figurehead has been proven wrong in spades the last 8 years. Of course, for the biggest part of that time, the prevailing party in congress was in sync with the Pres..
Add to that the fact that in such an environment, what is presented to congress for vote can be colored in camoflauge or downright lies.
And, there's always the VETO. Not to mention outright nefarious circumvention of the checks and balances. When you have a true "axis of evil" running the country, a lot can slip through the cracks. Can I get an "Amen"?

Oh yeh, sorry if you're new here Jerica, didn't mean to come off as confrontational, well..maybe a little. But we are pretty good at listening to all opinions and rebutting as we see fit. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I lose. Keeps it a horserace, interesting up to the wire.
