HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS
Like you, Pressly, I was struck by the worship service at my church this morning. The young women in our christian dance group did a beautiful dance interpretation of a song titled "If we are the body of Christ". The words go something like this:
If we are the body of Christ, why are our hands not reaching out?
If we are the body of Christ, why are our feet not stepping out?
If we are the body of Christ, why are our voices not speaking out?
The message spoke of getting out of the church building and into our community and world, helping the lost, hurting and hungery.
We all need to volunteer in some way to help in our community as the hands and feet of Jesus. They will know we are Christians by our love!
