Yard Sign

For the first time in our lives my hubbie and I felt passionate enough about the election to actually put up a (McCain/Palin) yard sign...

Neighbors down the street had Obama signs at 2 houses so our next door neighbor and 2 others put up McCain/Palin signs to offset them... lol

All went well for about 2 weeks but during the night last night all the McCain signs were kicked apart and destroyed.

I guess that tells us where the right of free speech is going if the O-man is elected!

So true. Are you going to put them back up?

Don't seem to happen here in Texas. There were Hillary signs all over the place until the primary. Now I still see the Hillary signs, and McCain signs,,,but everyone that's voting for Obama is too embarrased to put out a sign.

I have a McCain/Palin sign on each side of my driveway, and some shirts that I got online, and a coffee cup that I carry with me that say McCain/Palin.

I eat breakfast with a large group of retired people in the mornings. One woman in the group said something about the McCain shirt I had on, she's for Obama. I told her that if she wears her Obama shirt in the morning, we could sit next to each other....lol
She Won't Buy One. She Won't Wear One if I bought it for her. She doesn't want anyone to know she is voting for Obama.

Oh, I forgot to mention the McCain/Palin sticker on my car.

We never put up signs before either, but we have our McCain/Palin sign on the front lawn.

There are a few O signs around. He's nothing but an empty suit.

We went to the McCain office here on Thursday and were told they were all out of signs, but we could order one online for $7.00. They doubted it would get here before the election though.

In years past, I've put up signs in my yard supporting my chosen candidate, as well as putting a sticker on my back car window. And this year is no different. I've never had my signs stolen or vandalized. The only thing I've heard about that this year is a man that has an office across the hall from me said his McCain/Palin sign was stolen & he's pretty sure it's a lady up the street from him that's got an Obama sign in her yard.

During the last Presidential election the theft & vandalism was so bad in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area it made the newspaper. One man had his Bush sign stolen repeatedly. He finally got one, got a ladder, climbed up high into the tree in his front yard & nailed it into the tree. So in order to steal it again, the thieves would've had to have a tall ladder & a good hammer to get the nails out of the tree. Pretty slick thinking on his part.

We are first timers too for putting signs in our yard. We have 2 up. One says McCain/Palin, the other says Another Family for McCain. We are proud supports of McCain/Palin.
Carci, sorry your signs were destroyed. I hope you'll be able to replace them before the election.

WE taped it back together and put it back up with an American flag yard sign right next to it...

This is whom Obama 'represents' - racists, thugs and entitlement mentality.

YES WE CAN!!

get screwed by an Obama Admin and a Dem Congress.

Yes I have a lot of frontage land. I have up three signs. One is at the end of a crossroad so it can be seen from four directions. I want a bumpersticker, but they are out.

McCain/Palin The only Change we need. God bless America.
