cardiac problems

hey everyone!
nt
i apologize for being gone so long....i am dealing with a major crisis...last october and echo showed a hole in my heart (ASD/PFO) atrial septal defect with a patent foramon oval...also i am losing more than 30% of my oxygenated blood with each beat of my heart causing stress on the right side of my heart causing ventricular tachycardia...i have what is called a left to right shunt...the head of cardiology at general hospital refuses to operate and close the hole until i have reached 50% blood loss...my doctor's hands are tied and my pockets empty....mayo clinic advises to close the hole at 30% if symptoms are active...i can barely walk anymore, climb stairs, no dancing or exercise without putting my heart into major dangerous irregularities....i am ready to go the the newspaper and or mayor to ask for help...my test also shows mild regurgitation in three of my valves...my ssi was turned down three times because i do no have a lawyer...when they first found the hole i was given my state disability insurance for one year...that benefit has exhausted and now i am on the ga. next week i am seeing a lawyer as i have had to move back to a shelter and am on general assistance...here in san francisco they give you a shelter bed and 65 dollars per month. if a single room opens they may give me one of those while i wait for the lawyer to help me...however...i am on the sudden death list with the symptoms i have so i believe my father in heaven will do his will...and that is my hope...thank you for listening...love and peace to you all!

Love you and am sorry to hear about all the grief you've been having.

Gypsy, It's been so long since we've talked. I was wondering how you were doing. I hope you are able to get SSI. I know it's a long hard road to travel. It took my sister awhile but she finally got it. God bless you with all you're dealing with. What a horrid situation. I'll be praying for you! LOve you

Gypsy: Sometimes it seems lke we are dealt more than we can handle. My husband also suffers from ventricular tachycardia, he is on beta blockers to control the arrythmia. Are you also on meds? Do they help at all? Going to the newspapers sounds lke a good idea! At least people would know of your situation and maybe the right people would see it and be able to help you! I pray that will happen. I will start a prayer chain at my church for you and keep you in my thoughts. God Bless You!!!!!
