Chocolate Truffle Mint
* 1 can sweetened condensed milk
* 1 1/2 cups nonfat milk
* 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 tsp. peppermint extract
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a glass container. It is best stored in glass mason jar. Remember to shake before pouring, as the condensed milk will settle to the bottom. This will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
Tip: substitute low fat sweetened condensed milk for regular for a healthier alternative.
Liquid coffee creamer base can also be made by mixing 1 cup of dry coffee creamer with 1 cup of hot water. Mix until dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water. Store in the refrigerator.
Try creating a powder from your favorite candy. Candy canes now come in many flavors. By adding bits of candy to your food processor and processing until the candy bits are a powder, you can add new flavors to your coffee creamer with a fraction of the cost of commercial flavored creamers. Simply add the powdered candy bits to your liquid coffee creamer and shake well to dissolve.
Great ideas here. Thanks send chocolate.
Thank You so very much. This sounds even better than what I read. I know what I will be doing tomorrow. luvlivbands

I guess you could use powdered milk if you want but I use milk right out of the fridge. I sometimes use Silk Soy Milk when my daughter comes to visit.
I'm not one for sweet coffee; I usually take mine straight up and black. But I'm gonna try these; you just might "convert" me!
So many of the flavored creamers are sweetened and I don't like my coffee sweet. I know I can make vanilla sugar by splitting a vanilla bean and putting it in the sugar. Do you think it would work if I split a bean and put it in a container of dry creamer? I guess there is just one way to find out. If I can find a small glass jar I'll put a bean in with some dry creamer and let it set for a few days. I'll let you know if it works.
Thanks sendchocolate - Great ideals for gifts for the holidays. I have some nice bottles with caps that would work.
