Political Philosophy

Which political party philosophy is correct?

My opinion BOTH. How can both be correct you might wonder, I believe that a balance is needed is for the country to run smoothly. Usually both parties take their ideology to the extreme which causes damage to the country(economy, freedom, and or whatever)

Usually when moderates are in control they do less damage to the country.

What do you think.

In my opinion , neither one .Both support the current corrupt system where the candidate with the most money almost always wins . We will not have good government in this country until we get true campaign finance reform . Support DRIP ( Don't Re-elect Incumbent Politicians )

I was basically talking about their economic ideology.

People's vote don't count anyway as long as they use primary and caucuses delegates and electoral delegates that don't have to follow the people choice.

If you think about it the electoral college doesn't balance out the power of difference states since each state is giving a different amount of electors.

The electoral college negates the vote of the minority of each state because all of the electors goes to one candidate.

Neither is correct or (in my opinion) a good fit for the average person. Its a shame that neither party really embraces middle America. All too often religious or socialist positions are embraced.

Suea , I tend to be in the same camp as you . I believe in individual rights and less government , especially in irresponsible government spending . ( and I apologize for the redundancy of using the term irresponsible government )

i agree,we need moderates and centrist for sure
both are correct if you have a open mind to listen.tho you don't have to cling on to their rhetoric.
for a long time i have been slamming corporations because of the greed and muscle they have been flexing and the lax anti-trust,acguisitions,mergers and creation of monopoly's.
yes we need companies for families to work to earn a decent wage.but we need them here in the USA.
and yes the pendulum that swings to far one way will tip the scales and topples our country.
we can list a series and bunches of outfits that i say wreck havoc.
necessary evils i call em.the ACLU,CIA. and yes welfare-intended for those that are truly in need and a bind, but once people learn the rope a dope methodes its wide open.what we need is a tribunal of people to run these programs, not ones hired by the politician flavor of the month club.and another is the health care in this country is sick and needs major operation quick, what happened to the Hypocritical Oath, what does it stand for anymore-MONEY.
if anything the electorial needs to be tweeked a bit not much.
i feel that if you did do popular vote the politicians would do most of their politican in only 5-10 states.
to make vote fair ,vote on sunday and open and close at national time at the same moment across the country, wouldn't networks have to scramble on that one only declare a winner once.

One big problem I see is that the Republican Party has changed dramatically. Soo things have gone to that extreme. The pendulum needs to swing back.
