Istria, Croatia...the next Tuscany?

Just returned from my third trip this year to Croatia. Most of my time was spent setting up and escorting an active 14 passenger cruise trip along through the island of Dalmatia, however, finally was able to hit Istria this September.

Truffles, olives, grapes, figs, hill towns, coastal fishing villages....I loved it.

Wow, travelDragon, that is where I would like to go,my ancestors are from Croatia and we were just talking about that, although, I doube I would ever have enough money or guts to fly that far.
