SUNDAY OCT.5TH TOPIC:
Look around the room you're in. What three things make you happy? Why?
In my office I'm surrounded by so many things that bring be peace from a comfy recliner that faces the television, and my chairside antique table with candles and my Bibles,to my stereo with my favorite music, to my tall bookshelf filled with my favorite authors, to the teddy bears on top of it, to the dried flower arrangements,to my favorite paintings and photos of my loved ones! It's a lovely and peaceful place for both working and relaxing. It's my favorite room in the house! It's large, painted in subtle sandy-pinkish colors. It's all ME.

I'm sure this room says a a lot about me, unfortunately. (but I so love it) I am surrounded by paints, paper, tables to draw on, shelves that hold painted, unpainted and UFO's (unfinished objects) It is a little chaos, a small tornado, and everything I love. It also hold my computer and a a semblance of an office, and a big old computer should I get bored. )lol) Oh yes, the other rooms are fairly neat and very boring. I spend little time in them. Have a wonderful Monday to everyone.

It's not so much things that I love in my house - but the peace and presence of the Lord, my husband, and the family that comes to visit. That's what makes our house a home.

In this room, my office, I see three things that I know, love and use; my sewing machine, my computer and my musical instruments. Since getting the computer and when I was working, the computer ousted out the sewing and music. Now that I'm retired, My sewing machine has been cleaned and oiled and I have made several small projects. My guitars and keyboad are calling to me to make music even though my fingers are rusty. I will make time for them and try to give equal time to all.
