Our Banner
The banner is a Halloween "trick". I'm thinking of posting it, or one like it, in Midnight Movies as a gag. There's another one in the gallery.
Hey Bro,
I like the banner, although sometimes I wished I had more time to sit down and get to watch more over the years.
I know I am for one very, very happy to see that you are still here on Eons that is for sure. I know I am for one glad that the powers to be did not do what I feared when it came to the accidental sending of invitations.
Time to move on with some great lessons learn from it. Are you planning to change that banner today?
I have not even made it half-way through the so called Internet Book of Shadows and I have found at least 50 more messages to post, even if not all of those are not mine. I may not have participation like you have in some of your other groups, at least I am getting more folks dropping by, at least I am getting someone to speak up once it a while to help give me some guidence in how to proceed with Heathens. At heast I have couple of things that I want to write up for there to help encourage even nore folks.

I can't make it private, unfortunately -- that was my original idea. When I did that, one couldn't link to things posted here, which was the whole point of starting the group. We are the only three people here, though, and nobody can show up without asking me, because this group is Public With Approval.
I'm not going to change the Midnight Movies banner, but I might do an item about the "new group for Vampires on Eons" as a gag sometime this month, and put the banner in that, link to the "group," and have the message be an item that says "Trick Or Treat!" Still toying with exactly how I want to use it.

You know I forgot about that little glitch in the system that just won't allow links to make it go.
Right now I have noticed more folks are at least dropping by Heathens as of late, probably because of the posts that I have been doing that are at least getting them to read and think about the path as a whole. Well that and that the Pagan path is not one that you could really take a casual taking to because it felt "right" to them. While I am doing all this I started pondering how much sooner we should have gotten this started, because it would have taken a lot off pressure from you over the group and how worried you were starting to get over it. I know hind-sight is always twenty-twenty on something. It was something that I thought about, I do enjoy the group don't take me wrong on that and as I said I feel very honored that you had handed the group over to me but it was something that I thought about when I tend to let my mind wonder about everything.

I had just run out of ideas for stuff to post, mostly because my own path had shifted to Buddhism, so that's where my head was. You were really putting more fresh material and ideas into the group than I was already anyway! I'm grateful to you for taking it over, and doing such a great job.

You will need to drop by and read through at least my last response in there, for I gave a little background of our intertwined past, but way of experiences, I did not give out anything specific that we had in common, the mutual trust and respect that we have built over the short time that we have known each other, the ability that we have the be able to confide in with each other, as well as how I felt when you asked me if I wanted to become the next manager of the group.
I had also included what I felt as to why a small handful left the group just right after your annoucement as well as what parting shots you may have recieved either right before or just after they quit the goup as well as probably some private messages you recieve that may have been quite colorful in their assessment of me before they even had a chance at doing a thing. As well as the trust that you have stepped down and gave me the honor of showing what you pretty well knew about my talents. Some of the things I made sure that was not in there was any type of finger pointing, as you know I do not play that game even in private as well as no specific details about anything that would ever give away what we had confided in with each other.
