Fun pictures, AJ, thanks for posting them.
Thanks for sharing. Good video. I love my state and Texas Proud. I like to think I have a heart as Big as Texas. You can find it all here. Don't know if it is still this way, but I have found that Texas's have always been friendly. Of course their is always the exception.
These photos capture the various scenes that make Texas what it means to most of us, a home that is historical, beautiful, picturesque, majestic and, of course, fun. I love this, and it makes me feel proud to call myself a Texan.
This is a great slideshow. Texas Proud.

Thanks, all. This is truly a Texas Friends slideshow, as it's a combination of my pictures and other member's photos who put them into our TF group photo section. Hope to add to these as we have more get-togethers and as members contribute more photos of our beautiful state.
Stace, loved the music to go with it. I love love love that song -- thanks!
I love looking at these pictures~~~beautiful~~someday I hope to visit Texas~~~
I can't imagine living anywhere but TEXAS. I've nearly always lived in the country. My in-laws had 150 sections leased land. It sounds like alot, but it was mostly rock and catus. The Pecos river was on their ranch. We would go fishing alot, varment hunt at night. They had the 2nd most purisy springs on their land. We'd ride mules to get to fishing places where no one else could fish. Where we lived you could see Old Mexico. 5? miles to nearest town. My only grip was so many rattle snakes. Mostly diomond back and rock rattles. Where else but TEXAS could you find this heaven. I'm a lot older now but, I have these beautiful memories.I love TEXAS, a gift from God. luvlivbands.
For a while I lived on a Ranch West of San Angelo, between there and Big Lake. Actually it was between Mertzon and Big Lake. Talk about Rattlers. One year, nearly every time I would walk out the back would be a rattler. I got real good at killing snakes with a hoe. Round up was scary for me. With the rocks, rattlers and cactus. Always concerned my horse would throw me off in a cactus because of a rattler.
Yes those were the days - good memories.
I love Texas and it is an exceptional state. I have fond memories of W. Texas, waking up in the morning, looking out my window seeing the mountains, felt like you could almost reach out and touch them, smelling fresh air, hearing the roosters crow. My grandparents sitting in the kitchen having coffee.....ohhh such great memories!
