Miss StressOut

Hi, I will probably sound boring...but I have a problem with stress...what causes them? well, I have a 20year old son who is studying and I am unemployed...although my retirement money is put away for me hopefully but I held an amount for my expenses and now I find myself paying rent money, gasoline, etc, etc, and although I have a Significant Other, well he is just not getting involved, not interested, and worst of all...he constantly says he will be leaving me if I keep all this up...my problem, well, my son is studying nursing, his father has his own life, and I worry because I love my Significant Other, but...I feel I have to be there for my son....I feel against the wall....I pray and pray and hope that somewhere along the line, I don't get a heart attack! There are many stress builders in my life...but one at a time, I guess...I feel good at least writing to you and at least when I read thru these lines, I notice that there are many who have worst problems....I know that eventually I will end up alone and I need to accept that...if it is God's will! So here I am....thank you everyone who reads this, for being here for me!!

Hi there... it certainly sounds like a stressful situation, but your signigicant other should realize that your son will be on his own shortly. Making a person choose b/t their child and them is just not right... you'll get a job and things will work out... keep the faith and be strong... for yourself!

Hi Miss StressOut. Well, don't stress too much about your significant other. As the term is used most often, you significant other should be the person who is significant to you and has your best interest at heart. You touch a lot of areas in your note. So let me address the "stress" factor. Stress is an overwhelment feeling that is cause by the way your mind reacts to things/tasks that it does not how to handle appropriately. As a life coach, I can assist you with the level of stress and have you view things/tasks in a different prespective and have you re-train your brain.
