Hello fellow campers

For years my husband worked pipeline construction and we traveled all over the souteast with our dog and our camper.
We started out with a 30ft. tag-a-long and no slideouts--that was the best time, there wasn't enough room in that one to have a disagreement, hee hee. Then traded up to a 30 ft double slide out fifth wheel, and now we have a 38ft triple sideout fifth wheel. Hubby retired 4 years ago so we don't get to travel all the time now. I really do miss my traveling days. We met so many nice people and saw places we would never have gotten to see otherwise. I am looking forward to reading your post and contributing when I can.
Thanks for having me

I'm wanting to travel with my dog also. I have a 26ft camper with one slideout and I've been gone a month and it wasn't bad. Can't afford to travel as much as I'd like and well can't have that much time off from work for that matter darn it. I admit I also like reading about others trips and looking at the pictures

Hi there. This is my first attempt at writing to someone at Eons. I'm from Queensland Australia, and my husband and I are retired and love going travelling in our pop-top campervan. We've had two x two month trips all through Queensland, from the beaches to the outback, and soon going south. We don't have the luxury of a big rig, but just love our van. Where have you travelled to, and do you always stay in caravan parks or do you free camp sometimes?

Our pop-top is a 1990 Mazda E2000, don't know if that means anything to you. No toilet or shower, make up the bed each night, so we rough it a bit, but it's great. I'd be interested to hear from you.

Happy new year to you. Summer here, so pretty hot.
Regards, Jude.
