I know it has been a long time but now I have downloaded a photo of a German Destroyer that was pulled up next to an American Destroyer in the harbor of ,I think New York,The entire crew were standing on the rails on one side of the ship with the American flag flying above and a large sheet spread out with the words "WE STAND BY YOU". If I knew how I would place here in this letter.

As I stated in another group,Write in under search the title <<uss new york>>.There will show the ew warship of the With a complete history of the ship.The front of the ship contains 43000 tons of steel from the towers that were destroyed by the terrorists.

Dick 107,I just happened to type in Uss New York and hit the search button and came up with the group Bloomimg Boomers, which happens to have a letter from "Chev515" with a set of 14 photos of the ship USS New York.Check it out.It is really interesting.
