Thank You

Thank you for the invitation to join this group. I have recently retired (July 1 this year) and so far have enjoyed every minute. I have been watching for sales and discounts for myself and my husband now that we are on fixed incomes. My husband retired a year before I did, and we tried to fix everything in the house that needed to be done while we were still working. It seems as though everything has risen so dramatically price-wise in the last two years, and I am hoping we will manage ok. I'm anxious to check any and all hints provided by this group to help me out, and to hopefully provide some hints myself.

Welcome! I understand about the house situation. I have retired early (without benefits!) so we are living on just what my husband brings in. We did some work on the house while we had a little money and now we just don't have any extra. It will be challenging to try to stretch that dollar to keep our home in good shape:0
