Can't figure me out
It does piss me off when I let myself get so confused about things. My head just spins, the thoughts keep racing, and nothing happens. I'd like to kick myself sometimes. What happened to that brave lil soul I used to be?

Just needed to vent . . . .
There's not a lot of things that really piss me off but I am currently in a situation where I think I have to seek legal advice to resolve this problem. I'll try to make a long story short. My niece & her 3 kids & live-in boyfriend (father of 1 of kids) were evicted from their home and no where to go. Boyfriend was a truck driver doing cross country - gone for weeks at a time. So being kind and stupid, I said they could come stay with me for a few weeks until they could save $$ and get their own place. Due to bad credit that wasn't going to happen. Months go by and they still have no solution and not saved any $$. Then boyfriend loses his job - he moves in. Goes on unemployment, that ends now no $$. They get foodstamps. They pay no rent, which I never asked since they have no $$ what was the point. I did however ask them to pay for utilities over and above my normal.
My carpet has been trashed because of kids going in and out, 2 year old sippy cup drips - little black spots all over carpet. Things have gotten broken because of carelessness - some expensive like Tiffany lamp. There have been heated arguments mostly on the part of my foulmouthed niece. I've been told by my doctor they need to leave in order to reduce my stress that is affecting my health. After this weekend's latest blow-up, they tell me they will be leaving on the 14th. O.K. now, I want to make sure they do leave and try to find out what precautions or actions I can do to ensure they leave. Called police, sheriff, court, city hall etc and no quidance at all to what can be done to make sure they leave MY HOME. It seems that my only recourse is to contact an attorney. Why do I have to do this to get these people out of my own home????
After, listening to my niece yell, scream and call me names Saturday, I told her that this was my house and I will not be spoken to in that manner and if that's what she was going to do they could just get out now. Her response was "Make me" - you can't, we've been here more than 30 days (they have actually been here just over a YEAR!) What law says I can't get them out? And why do I, who has done nothing but provide them shelter for the last year, be the one that seeks legal advice????? This really pisses me off!!!

Zealots
Yikes. I'm in a pretty lively political group that has attracted a lot of Obama zealots. Now, zealots are not just supporters, they are people who want to bombard you with propaganda about their candidate, smear all other candidates (and their supporters) and totally ignore all the bonehead things their candidate does and says and stands for.
I saw this exact same thing with Ron Paul supporters. Although I think he had some great ideas, his zealots just killed his campaign. Whether it's politics, religion, or anything else for that matter, zealots are not good followers to have, and zealots themselves really don't seem to see the damage they do.

I had a woman the other day, turn on her signal to turn right. So, I go around her on the left side. I'm on my way to the hospitol. Only thing is, she didn't turn right, she didn't turn at all. I continue on, I park my car, and low and behold here comes this crazy woman after me. Cussing and screaming. I couldn't believe it! This lady made me so mad I had to yell right back at her. She took my liscense plate # and said she was going to turn me in. I told her to go ahead, do what you need to do. She kept screaming at me all the way into the hospitol. Geeze. PPl have gotten so damned rude these days. I get mad everytime I go out anymore because of these kinds of ppl.. What happened to courtesy?
Celebrities
At a time when people are struggling to hold on to their homes, keep their jobs, and hoping to have enough gas in their cars to make it to the gas station, I'm sick and tired of hearing about "baby bumps", what country celebrities are choosing to give birth in, and how many millions they've paid for their newest mansion. I don't care if A-Rod is hanging around with Madonna or if she gets a divorce. I don't know why celebrities seem to be so influential on society, but they should also keep their noses out of political issues. We're capable of making up our own minds without their input, and I, for one, am disgusted with the media for their coverage of such garbage.
Paperwork for someone else
It really bugs me when someone calls you for nformation about a course they are taking. You promise to get the information and call them as soon as you get it. So, here you are searching through old notes you haven't seen in years. And just because you are a repondsible person and you promise this person. You search all over the house for it. Finally you gather all the information for this person. You call the person up and he tells you "Oh I didn't need it" Makes you want to go to that persons house and beat him with the paper work you spend all day searching for.
Damn electric
Electric went off just as my wife went in to iron me a wash cloth and bath towel for my nightly shower. Also, I'm sitting here running the computer off flashlight batteries and viewing everything with a candle.
