Seeing UFO's !
I have a very basic problem with ufo's--why do we see them and why do they appear in heavily populated areas where 'discovery' is seemingly imposible to avoid and yet, they still do not contact us! Behavior such as this seems inconsistent. Why wouldn't people with a billion or 2 billion years of a scientific head start not have advanced to a stage where seeing their crafts would be made impossible. And why are these crafts so boringly mundane, with lots of standard 'bells and whistles'--like lights and windows abundantly visible when they sloppily appear over Ohare airport or some other major metropolitan area. Just annoys the heck out of me. What about you?
UFO's and Aliens
I also have a problem with aliens, stem11.
If they have such advanced technology, are able to build UFO that can travel from galaxy to galaxy, can fly invisibly or so fast we can't see them, and have ample fuel reasonably priced, why do they have to be "peeping toms" peeking in bathroom windows secretly spying on us as was the headline last week?? Why not use their supersight or invent an upside down periscope of some sort? Would save us all embarrassment ~ especially if both of us are naked.

I had always been told Patty Hearst and I looked alike, except her hair was darker, so I took an interest in her and her 3~4 monts with the SLA.
This is a time line of how our life paths crossed:
04 Feb 1974 ~ Kidnapped from her apartment in Berkeley, CA, by the urban gorilla group Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). The SLA tried to trade her for jailed members, but failed. Then ransom demands ended in the Hearst family donating $6 million in food for the poor in the Bay Area.
Patty had been kept blindfolded in a closet while brain washed and sexually abused.
15 Apr 1974 ~ I give birth to my daughter in Paramount.
15 Apr 1974 ~ Patty helped rob the Sunset District branch of the Hibernia Bank in San Francisco. This is when the famous photo of Patty with the assault rifle was taken.
16 May 1974 ~ I had my first motorcycle accident. I had lots of road rash on my face, lost my 3 front teeth, and couldn't take care of my month old baby.
16 May 1974 ~ Emily and Bill Harris tried to shoplift at a sporting goods store while Patty waited in a van as the get-away driver. Emily and Bill were caught, and Patty shot up the store in order for them to escape. They stole and car-jacked several autos to elude capture and were successful.
This happened just a couple of miles from where I live now.
17 May 1974 ~ There was a 2 hour gun battle between the SLA and 500 L.A. police on East 54th Street. Patty was not there. Three members were shot to death as they tried to escape; the house caught fire due to tear gas canisters exploding; 2 members succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning; 6 members were trapped and burned to death; DeFreeze (SLA leader) shot himself in his head. I always believed this happened close to where I grew up in Compton, but others say it happened in Los Angeles.
20 May 1974 ~ Someone reported seeing Patty Hearst at my mothers house and FBI agents came to the house looking for her. I was mistaken for Patty, having looked a lot alike in 1974 and I was recovering from the motorcycle accident.
Sep 1975 ~ Patty was found in an apartment with 2 other members of the SLA and arrested by the FBI for bank robbery.
04 Feb 1976 ~ Exactly 2 years after her kidnapping, Patty’s trial began. It lasted only 39 days.
20 Mar 1976 ~ After 12 hours of deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Patty received the maximum sentence of 25 years for bank robbery, plus 10 years on firearm charges. Her sentence was later shortened (after the sitting judge’s death) to 7 years.
In a second trial for the shooting at the sporting goods store, Patty was given 5 years probation.
Patty served her time in the Federal Correction Institution in Pleasanton, CA.

Mayan Calendar 12/21/2012
What do ya'll think about the debate of the Mayan Calendar saying that life as we know it will end Dec. 21, 2012? I have read some articles on it and eveidently some of what they have predicted to occcur before that date have happened...major earthquakes in Asia, tidle waves in Indonesia area, Hitler, and other world wide events. What have you heard? What is your opinion??????
Hollow Earth ?
Last night on coast to coast ( the late night radio show) a guest spent the entire night claiming that he had evidence of the earth having up to 200 miles of open area under the crust. Anyonty take this seriously? I had a hard time with this one.

Grandaughter age 2 1/2 has a ghost
My Grandaughter, in th past 3 months has an invisiable person that she talks too, and talks about,and sometimes has to run to her room to talk to cause he called her name.
She calles him
UnFin.... (strange name for a 2 year old to come up with huh) My daughter neither encourages or discourages her when she talks about him.. just treats it as normal behavior..
From pieces of converstion that Joise my grandaughter has shared.. He just showed up one day, nothing special about that day. According to Joise he is not a child or playmate but an old man... 2 weeks later she shared that he had to walk with a stick.. ( a cane) and sometimes he goes away for a while and sometimes he is there.. One day she got angry with her Mom when her Mom playing along with her said hello to UnFin.. Joise was mad at her because he was not there next to her.. he was in her bedroom sitting in her chair that mommy rocks her in.. and that her mother was being silly pretending to talk to Unfin..
About 2 weeks ago.. Joise was talking to her Mom and her brother about Unfin that is when she told them he had to walk with a stick.. and then said.. He told her he was a ghost... The only ghosts Joise would know about would be the paper kind that is portrayed at halloween as a sheet.
and Josie said.. thats funny Mom cause Unfin doesnt look like a sheet with holes in it.. He is just an old man..
My Dad..Josies great grand dad died when Josie was 4 months old and he walked with a stick..(a cane ) I wonder if it is him??? or it could jusst be someone else.. but I do not believe it is her imagination..

I want to thank all of you for all the light hearted banter that you post. I won't laden ya'll with any depressing details, but because ya'll keep things light and with humor you help me through tough times. I suffer from depression and due to financial/health problems it is so nice to banter about with out negative repercussions.
