Our Trip to Nassau Bahamas
Last year my husband and I went to Nassau, for our 40th anniversary. It is a lovely place. The all inclusive hotels are wonderful. We went in October so it may have been cheaper. I loved shopping in downtown Nassau, and the guided tour I took about the history of Nassau.

As said before, this will be our first cruise, although we tend to like the all inclusive hotels...any suggestions?? We will be doing Nassau, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and a couple of others

I would like to spend a week at a beach resort in the Caribbean this July. I live and travel alone and am quite comfortable with this so I am looking for an all inclusive resort that does not cater exclusively to couples and fmilies. A travel agent suggested Excellence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The brochures look great, but I have read a lot of negative comments on tripadvisor that criticize the service and room accommodations. I am also concerned about the safety of this country.
By your messages, some of you have traveled extensively in the area. Can anyone share your experiences here or give me a better option? Thanks.

I have been traveling with my family to the Caribbean for a number of years and have visited a majority of the Islands and many of the resorts.
We also love the Caribbean
My wife and I are in Atlanta area, and we go to Cozumel twice/year. In fact, we've now started to bring other couples with us, and we've been having a great time! Next trip - Jan, 2008. Anyone want to join?
