A beautiful day.
It is a glorious morning here with the sun shining and the sky so blue. My simple pleasure today will be having lunch with my son. We will be going to our favorite Japanese restaurant. It is special because we don't get to do that many things together because of his work and school schedule. This afternoon, it will just be the two of us. Even though my children still live with me, it is nice to do something special with them occasionally.

Hope everyone feeling great this morning! I feel good. Going to be a very sticky day here today--and worse tomorrow! Hope the electric co.can keep the juice flowing!Went to the supermarket early and got that out the way --may have to run out again real quick --but that's it for me after that! Got all the blinds closed, little a/c on, and the fan going. Right now its fine--but in the afternoon, that's when you really feel the humidity knocking! But, again, I thank God for my home because I do have one!! All of you enjoy your day! Try and keep cool! And this is only the BEGINNING of July!!

Oh how I wish this simple pleasure would come our way, we need some so badly. I know we will get some when the lord sees fit, but I can still wish. Our year is over half gone and for the life of me I can not see where it went. It seems like we were just welcoming the new year in. Christmas will be here before we know it. I hope you all had a great weekend and have started a wonderful week filled with pleasures. I am going to get back to one of my favorites----Reading. Have a good one
