RV Singles
TRAVEL FUN! Are you a traveling SINGLE? Nowadays, not every one who loves traveling in an RV or travel trailer is married. Join others in a group for those of us who love to travel with our mini-homes, our pets, our stuff--even though OUR STUFF doesn't happen to include a SPOUSE. Get together here! However, this is not a dating site. Ads and solicitation will result in a member being BLOCKED!

Our member roster
Our little group here on EONS is now one year and two months old. I notice [in my member list] that there are quite a few EONS people who've joined us over this period, and never been back again. Most of these were simply singles seeking out other singles, for dating. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I left them on the roster until now. However, the subject matter of our group is still RVing, sharing our travels, experiences, and advice when we can help out other members.
Therefore, in the next few days, I will be 'weeding' this list and deleting members who have not visited us within the last 6 months, at all, and those who have never posted any messages if they joined more than 4 months ago. This way, we can all get to "know" our frequenting members a little better. Happy RVing, all!

Mid-summer Festivals !!
I'm lucky enough this year to spend my 4th of July with good company [a photo-buff - I hope we get some good shots], and view New Mexico's largest fireworks display in the State at Elephant Butte Reservoir and State Park [also the largest lake in the State]. Here's links I found for you to view the festivities [just click on any link -- the best ones are first].

For all you retirees and vacationers out there, this is a great place to be [especially in Winter -- I can vouch for THAT, after the past 7 months I've had here]. There's events coming up in the Fall, too. You might like reading about these, and come visit and participate!
Happy 4th to ALL !!!

newbie here
Hi all! I am a single gal who enjoys camping with just about the bare necessities. I have a tent, stove, and lantern! lol
I thought I could get some good ideas from this group about safe places to camp. I like wilderness areas and have enjoyed the coast of Oregon the best. I always have my 3 dogs with me so camping is the way to go for me!
Thanks for letting me join

Kentucky RV Singles
are there any KY rv singles out there? I would like to meet some of you and camp out. I am close to Lake Barkley so there are lots of places to camp.
Hope to hear from someone,

I have a cool photo of my camper that I want to upload, but I keep getting a message: There was a problem uploading your photo. Please try again. What am I doing wrong?

Travel adventures
I am just a "dipping my toe in the stream" adventurer, but I am having a great time. I bought a 17-foot used trailer on an impulse. I drove it out of the RV center's parking lot to a bluegrass festival about 50 miles away. I was amazed at how much everyone around helped me get set up. I have now camped out in it several times, and I am getting better and better with the details. It still is so neat to me about how helpful everyone is. I probably never will go "full time," but I am venturing out farther and farther. It's a great way for a "widder woman" to get out of the house. I really enjoy reading about everyone else's adventures, too.
Winter in Mexico
I have been thinking of traveling to Mexico for the winter. Would like to form a group or meet people alone the way in our travel into Mexico.
I have never spend a winter in Mexico there fore I would like advice from people that have spend extended periods of time there, preferability people that traveled and stayed in there RV.
Anyone intrested in traveling to Mexico please Email me.

Retired and ready to camp...alone
Hi group,
I joined this group last year. I am retiring this year and want to travel. I don't have a camper but do have a topper for my truck. I plan to use that as my camper. I enjoy being outdoors and seeing this beautiful country. Maybe I will meet some of you "out there". I want to be left on this list...please.

A photo's worth 1000 words!
I have created 3 slideshows for travelers to view the area here. I came here as a "snowbirder" this past winter, following the death of my mother last July. I was "on the loose", so to speak, when I arrived here and decided to stay. I met so many people [and it's just the beginning], not much reason to leave. To see some of the area, click the links below; and if your Internet connection is slow [like dial-up], BE PATIENT - give them a few minutes to download.

And here's a short video clip of musicians in downtown TorC this past Saturday evening, during the monthly "ArtWalk" event.

Click on photo on that page, to start video (also give it time to download). These specialty shops stay open until about 9pm, once a month, for tourists and store browsers. There's also art galleries and eats-N-treats. It was a lovely evening!

Calling on all Full-Timers!
I need some input, having parked my behind for the past 6 months. I have sustained a FULL fridge for that time, and my freezer compartment is needing a defrost. Can anyone tell me an easy way to handle defrosting this, without the need of removing all my food? It's summer - not a good time to set all the food out! How do some of you handle this small problem?
Hopefully, members of the group who full-time, and who've encountered this, have some advice to give. There's a drip-pan under it, in place. But, my freezer is getting smaller and smaller [and it doesn't hold much on its best day!]. LOL!

Share Your Road Trip Story!
I received an invitation from another group administrator, who is hosting a "story contest". She is inviting anyone to post "your road trip story". You can read more details, at this group link: view link
To enter, write up a 200-300 word story [funny, sad, memorable, whatever!] about a road trip you took to a US National Park. The contest ends midnight on June 2.
If you have a story to share, good luck on your entry! --- mitzi
