Due to flu symptoms bothering Youk, Petey will be protecting Papi's back and batting cleanup. With Coco out as well and Bowden (just up from AAA) starting, our guys will need all the help we can give them tonight.

Beckett's been scratched from his start this weekend and is being sent to see Dr. Andrews...the voice of doom and gloom! This is not good folks. Let's say lots of prayers for Josh and send heaps of good karma over Fenway. They're going to need all they can get!!!

So much for Coco picking up more playing time. The Sox just picked up Mark Kotsay. I guess he's a good player but I don't get it. Coco's great in the field and running bases. He'a gamer. I'm scratching my head on this one. Do you think the Sox are going to try to move Coco for some bullpen help before the roster deadline ? Hmmm....

Dam the Sox look good.....so glad to see Dustin get his first grand slam....he sure is a hitter and a hard nosed ballplayer....see the Sox added Kotsay to the outfield....he will be a welcome addition, great ballplayer.
