Summer's got us?

It's been a long time since some of our members have posted.
Just to make sure folks are still with us I'd love it if every member would just log on and say hi--or tell us one thing you're planning to do this summer--doesn't have to be a trip around the world, can be as fun as planting petunias. We'd just love to hear from you. Have a great summer!

Good Morning

Today will be another hot day and that'll be great. I just got back from VT. Had a great time there visiting friends.
Looking forward to going to another school reunion this weekend. It's a Grammar school one. It's nice to see the people I went to school with so long ago.
Anyone else having school reunions this year?

hope your 4th was fun

Still no parts for my computer so don't know when I'll be taking it in. We had a beautiful 4th, family came for an indoor picnic. It was hot and muggy outside until late in the day, we can see the town fireworks from our front yard so we watched them and then just after we went to bed it started to rain. So great timing. Hope your day was fun, and that at least one time you sang or heard the national atheme. Today is a great day for an old movie and putting one's feet up. Be safe!

I hope everyone is having a good 4th of July weekend... It's good weather here in Maine ,not too hot or rainy...great for family outings and BBQ's..
I'll be back later.. I'm going to enjoy some yard sales...

Good Morning

Hi, how is everyone today? It looks like a fine day here in Me. Cool right now, but usually gets muggy and warm later. The summer is going good for me so far. Almost the 4th of July, any excitement going on where you live? We have parades, and fireworks..
I'll be out of town for the weekend. Going to a friend's house in VT. It'll be good to visit with friends and watch the fireworks.
Well, enjoy the weather and the vacation on the weekend.

Monday here again

Today is starting out cool here in Oregon but it's pleasant after a couple really hot days. I'll be taking my computer back to the shop either Wed. or Thurs. so will be off line for a couple days again by end of week. I'm in a little bit of a quandry. I have written another book but it's not exactly about someone wonderful, like all the folks in my last book. The gal who reads/punctuates for me says he's not a likable character. Do you think a story always has to be about someone you'd like to know? This isn't a "bad" man, just someone who's lived his whole life before he figures out what really matters. Hope you have a great week.
