I ran across an interesting blog about Salt. Sea salt and natural salt to be exact. I copied the link to that blog so you could read it and give your opinion.

Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Creole Spice Rub
Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Creole Spice Rub
this is from Cooking Lite
The kicky spice rub for the steaks is easy to make,
and the results are dynamite.
The steaks need to stand for a few minutes after
cooking to allow their juices to reabsorb.
Total time: 38 minutes.
Creole Spice Rub:
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Remaining Ingredients:
4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed (1 inch thick)
Cooking spray
Combine mustard and next 7 ingredients (through black pepper); rub evenly over steaks.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add steaks to pan; cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.

Quote of the Day
"The guy who takes a chance, who walks the line between the known and unknown, who is unafraid of failure, will succeed."
~Gordon Parks
For many of you, the struggle to maintain a healthy weight has been a life long endeavor. For some, it's a new challenge. It doesn't matter which group you fall into, there are still the same apprehensions of failure and uncertainty. Changing our lifestyle is a major change and major changes cause such emotions when we consider them. They take us outside of our comfort zone into uncharted territories.
"Who, me, exercise?" Sure, why not? Exercise need not be an hour or so at the gym. It can take on any form you enjoy. From walking to golfing to dancing, the means you choose isn't what's important, the fact that you get up and move is what matters. That fine line between enjoyment and just doing it because you have to should be crossed to keep you interested and maintaining your routine.
Don't allow your uncertainty to stop you from reaching your goals. If we all paused at uncertainty, we'd never accomplish anything, life is full of uncertainty. It is when we move along anyway that we accomplish our goals and succeed.

Quote of the Day
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
~Leo Tolstoy
Profound words to say the least. They hold a certain truth. When we change ourselves our world also changes. If we decide to be happier the world suddenly becomes brighter. If we decide to be healthier the world suddenly holds more possibilities for us. If we decide to worry less and relax more, the world suddenly is less stressful.
Many years ago I encountered an exceptionally aggravating co-worker. We all have. The kind where you go home at night convinced this person is there for the exclusive purpose of making your life miserable. Your days are spent with a constant low level anger just rummaging around inside you because you don't think you can do anything about the constant aggravation and disruption this person causes you. I was complaining about the situation to an older, much wiser friend and he taught me something very important. You can only be upset by the things you allow to upset you. If you make a conscious decision to not spend your precious time and energy on useless anger and worry your life can be much simpler. I gave the "strange" idea some thought and decided to give it a try and found, much to my great amazement and joy, it worked!
Throughout the day we make semi-conscious decisions. We react to situations without much thought at all. We may order the same lunch from the same place day after day, watch the same shows night after night, read the same author, travel the same routes and buy the same things at the grocery store. It's how we've done it for years. Are these things what we REALLY want? Don't know, it's what we've always done. It's what we are accustomed to and comfortable with.
Not happy with all the things in your world, give some thought to the way you think about them. They may not be all that hard to change.

Quote of the Day
"The beauty of all things lies in your ability to appreciate them."
~Author Unknown
First, foremost, and above all this means the beauty that is YOU! Most of us are our own most critical foes. We can stand in the mirror and see flaws that do not exist, wrinkles that have not yet appeared and never see the beauty that is right in front of us. We will pull ourselves apart in negativity and become angry and discouraged.
Each of us has beauty we never realize because we are too busy counting what we see as flaws. Stop it, they really aren't flaws, they are figments of your imagination. God, Nature, whatever you contribute your existence to didn't do flawed work. You aren't flawed, you are unique, just as everyone around you is.
As for the wrinkles and signs that we've been around the block a time or two, hey, wear them with honor and pride, we've earned them honesty. They reflect our time here, our trials and tribulations, our worry and our laughter. They are not lines of shame, but rather badges of courage, survival and persistence.
Be proud of the beauty that you possess. Look in the mirror. Those scars and marks each tell a story of who you are and the life you have lived. They are an intimate part of the BEAUTY OF YOU. Appreciate your beauty, everyday.
