I'm excited...!
The Wii I won at auction arrived! I haven't set it up yet; I had to work the weekend and decided to wait until my days off.
And even more excitment...I had been looking for Wii Fit at a "reasonable" price. Even on eBay, they're going for well in excess of $125. As much as I wanted one, I just wasn't going to pay that much over the retail price. So I kept looking at the online stores. But everyone was sold out or selling at outrageous prices. So I waited.
Finally...
last Thursday, Walmart.com had Wii Fit in stock! And the price was $89, so I ordered one right away. I was so stoked!
I had to run some errands and when I got home, I had an email saying it was back-ordered and they didn't know when it would be shipped! Talk about disappointed! Then, at work on Friday, I thought, maybe one of the local Walmart stores would have it in stock. Long shot, I figured. I decided if I did find one, I could either cancel the on-line order or when I got it (capitalist that I am), sell it on eBay for an outrageous amount (hee..hee!)
I checked out one of the stores, and no, it wasn't in stock, so I headed home. I didn't check any other stores because I was exhaused by then. When I got home, I had an email saying it was shipped! I won't get it until maybe as late as the 16th, but at least it's on the way!
Joy, Joy, Frabjous joy! I was doing the happy dance now!

New to the group
I am a new member to this group, but not new to the Wii. Tomorrow I am picking up my new Wii Fit. I am so excited. I would like tips if anyone has used it. I have the Dancing the Stars and it is great.

HI, I'm mamaO from CA and just purchased a new Wii a month ago from Wal-Mart. there was an ad in the Sunday paper and went right after church and bought it. My kids are blown away....I'll be 63 this summer. But I played in in Dec with my boys and again in March while visiting them in Portland. I decided then that I wanted one and now I do. I am not a game player but the Wii is great. Thatks for this site, hope to meet yall in time. Blessings, MamaO
Hello!
When Wii first came out, I thought it was just another game system. Then, Wii Fit came out and I started thinking...hmmm...I have to look into this. I couldn't find one for love or money anywhere, so I went to my favorite online site (eBay). I just won a Wii console and now I'm bidding on Wii Fit. I want to use it for the exercise value, but I want to have fun, too! I think this is the way to have the best of both worlds. I'm looking forward to reading what everyone is doing with their Wii's and what the best/most fun games are.
Welcome New Members
Hi -- welcome to Wii. Wii is fun and relaxing. I love the arcade games that come with Wii Play, that is really a game to show you how to use the remote.
Also, although hubbie and I traveled most of June, I can't wait to get back to the Wii Fit. Gardening has been keeping me fit, but I prefer the Wii.

Got mine 2 weeks ago
Just became a part of the WII generation
My husband and I just got our Wii a couple weeks ago. It's so nice to find something that is even more fun than advertised! We've just started with the basic games setup, then my husband NEEDED the bass fishing game. I'd be interested in hearing what everyone thinks are the "have to get" items to add to our small collection.
Wii Fit
How many of you have the new Wii Fit, and what do you think about it? I love it, and my husband who would never dream of going to a gym or yogi class is on it every day. So let me know what you think of it.
WII fun
My eleven year old son brought his WIi along when we went to Florida for spring break. I learned to WII bowl and bought my own WII a couple weeks ago. I was standing in line to purchase it when the woman behind me asked if i was buying it for myself. I said I was and she proudly announce she had already bowled several 300 games. I am calling Target every day to get my name down when the WII fits come in.
Set up the Wii Fit!
Hi,
I received my Wii Fit, and set up it, right before we had company. I decided I needed to work on balance, and started there.
The screens are very friendly, and the exercises look simple.
What I can't understand is that the program has already labeled me "unbalanced," and I thought only my family knew I was a nut. I can't wait to find out what terms they have thought of for the rest of my body.
I hope to get on it every day however!
