Here we have the next film coming out inspired by the war in Iraq. It is by the same woman who directed Boys Don't Cry. Looks like a tough film to watch. Heartbreaking.

Fields of Fuel

I just came back from Sundance and just wanted to share an important documentary (some reinactments) entitled "Fields of Fuel". Not only educational, it shows hope and showcases alternative ways of energy that change our society in depending so much on oil from the Middle East.

any movies you're looking forward to?

Simple question. Are there any movies that you've heard inklings of that you cannot wait to hit theatres? I know that many people are on quite the Harry Potter kick but what else? This summer's tentpole movies did very well [Transformers for example]. Now there seem to be quite a few political dramas out there.

I have to say, as a bit of a geek m'self I've been waiting a long time for all these superhero movies to start being made properly. I recently had the chance to see a preview for "Iron Man" that left me quite satisfied. Apparently they are also remaking "The Hulk" film. The film was released two or three years ago and feature Eric Bana. It got horrifying revues and so the studio is pretending it never happened and are starting all over again. Here here!
