The Manhattan Abduction (Linda Cortile Napolitano)

This is one of my favorite abduction case stories. It's creepy as people down on the streets of Manhattan were watching this abduction happening way up above them. Read on!

The Gap Fire in Santa Barbara Calif.

Hello everyone,
I have just been invited to this site and this is my initial Hello. Sorry it is so long, but this just happened to me last night and I am still on fire (no pun intended) from it.

....and while this may not be of the typical paranormal occurance, the whole event did seem to carry us through it with no effort of our own. Just exactly what is the broad scope of the paranormal anyway? Here is my story.

The Gap Fire in Santa Barbara, California.
This is my dail report to my friend Lou on this eons site, better know to you all as loko:

Good morning Lou,

While we were standing on the top of the San Marcus Grade last night, over looking the whole Santa Barbara /Goelta area, we had a view of most of the mountains that were burning, a view of the whole coastline with all the sparkling homes and businesses below and a view of the fireworks display happening on the Santa Barbara pier all at the same time.

I hate to say it like this because of the lose of life and and property, but the beauty was very overwhelming.

Every side road all up and down this mountainous area was blocked off by police because of mandatory evacuations and the police were protecting from fire and looters.

We happened to slip off this one little almost invisible, 3 block long, dead end, dark street where we miraculously found this amazing view. There was only one other truck there which had deposited 6 teens who were wearing blankets due to high winds, thick choking sot and the sudden evacuation from their homes.

As we were to find out from their conversations, these teens lived on these hills in various million dollar homes. They had telescopes and cell phones and they were the eyes for their parent's who had to be in other places with their animals and younger children due to the mandatory evacuations. The teens were on a mission, sent by their parents to report back the prized information as to the condition of their home and the proximity of the enemy fire to their individual places of memories, joys and safe haven.

That whole period of time turned surreal. We could feel the fear and pain coming from these 6 young adults hiding out in the hills watching for their parents and not wanting to be found out and removed by the police.

Before we knew it a news crew came up behind us. They wanted interviews. The 6 teens moved off to the side and ignored the crew, apparently wanting them to leave and not expose their presence in this area. The news crew descended upon me and my husband capturing every word we said and soliciting us for more.

When we disclosed that we had just moved our one and only son from the safety of our home back to school at UC Santa Barbara and to the outer edges of this inferno, they wanted to know of our exact feelings and concerns.

Then the fireworks began off the Santa Barbara pier. The interview stopped short and all eyes turned from the fire to the fireworks. Bug like feeling marched up and down my arms. It was such a contrast to see beautiful, man made fireworks exploding in the sky over-top of the nature made fireworks happening on the ground.

This morning I found a web site providing information and updates on the Gap area fire. On the site the Mayor of Santa Barbara is taking a lot of heat, no pun intended, for having not cancelled this celebration and I quote from the web site that can be found at view link "FIREWORKS, STABBINGS.....and the Gap Fire Burn; posted on July 4, 2008 at 10:56pm by the editor, The City of Santa Barbara proceeded with a 4th of July fireworks celebration.....as a result, multiple stabbings occurred at the base of the Stearn's Wharf. And, while the Mayor celebrated neighboring Goleta burned for a 4th straight night."

The web site has a picture of the Mayor singing on a stage in front of a microphone, clapping hands to the music and laughing.

By the way, this is only four miles West of one of the biggest Chumash Casino's of the State, to throw another kink in the chain of events.

That is it for today my friend.

Take care and have a wonderful day after the 4th.

Patty

Some amazing pictures of the fire can be seen on my profile page.

WHY DID YOU JOIN THIS GROUP?

Photobucket

We here on M&LP feel there are no coincidences..
everything happens for a reason. If you received an
invitation, why did you take us up on it? Or did you just
find us on your own? Were you looking for a place to
talk freely about the paranormal, or its effects on
you personally? I hope you will share with us about
this.
Harriette

I found this picture.....

I found this picture on the Psychic Connection site here at EONS and thought it was interesting.

It was in the Psychic Connection's photos...and was Posted by lakasy

lakasy wrote about the picture: "The tombstone actually has a pair of clasping hands engraved on it along with the lady's name and birth & death dates. The image showing in the picture is actually formed out of what looks like lichen and tree sap. This cemetary is about 1/2 block from my house. I took this picture several years ago. I walked over there yesterday and the image is still on it though not quite as clear."

I was wondering what you all see in the picture?

JOURNEY TO BELIEF-WHERE R YOU?

Photobucket

I am happy to know that our members have
found a safe haven, with like minds in
which to explore and discuss all things
paranormal.

I feel like we are all on a journey, each
individually towards an open and enlightening
of our own gifts. I believe we all have
the ability and it is just a matter of honing
the skills of intuitiveness and belief.

When the afterlife first knocked on my door, so to
speak, my fear kept it locked out. In the years
since with the help of so many here in this group
and the simple fact of realizing I am not alone..so many
others experience similar or like happenings, I have
grown so much.

Where are you on your journey to belief?

I'M BACK!!! FINALLY!

Boy! I sure have missed all of YOU!

Retrograde was insistent on my physical recovery, so much so I have had to replace my phone three times! My laptop needed to be resurrected 4 times and the AC died.Thank GOODNESS my wonderful Shaman of a husband worked his awesome stuff and fixed it all as sick as he was.

The great part is I am finally feeling great and Rob is getting better and my daughter Desiree was thrilled to learn that her CBC count was the lowest it has been in 7 years! She still has cancer but it seems to be reversing itself. All of us are so grateful!

Because I couldn't use the computer, I decided to work on my Moon and Fairy drawing and I have written a booklet titled "After Death Communication". The amazing thing about this booklet is that it was written (and edited by a wonderful friend) in three days! I am positive this was channeled because normally my articles can take me hours to write! lol Come to think about it, it was right after the booklet was written the computer died the first time!

Anyway, it is nice to be back home with all of you!
Blessings

Need an opinion

A friend just called and wanted her dream interpreted. I told her my opinion, but I'm in no way a professional when it comes to interpretation. So I thought I'd throw out her dream for your opinion. She has an 18 yr. old with Down Syndrome. She dreamed that her and her son were with some people that she didn't recognize but seemed to know. Her son had to go to the bathroom and he strolled off to the restroom. She waited for him and he didn't return. She and the other people, who were wearing red shirts and royal blue pants, started looking for him. My friend came upon a swimming pool where other kids were swimming and there he was face down in the water. She ran to him and rolled him over and yelled for help and then she woke up. She never did know if he was alive or dead. This is the second dream that she has had about losing him and I thought it's because of all the stress she's going through right now. But if what she dreamed has another meaning let me know so I can tell her. Thanks
