More than a bit a-MAE-zing
July 11th — — our performance at Lincoln Center B&N
• • Courting Mae West — — meant to have a cast of seven — — now approaches opening night [July 19th] with a cast of ten.
• • THREE of the actresses are replacements for two actresses who left suddenly. Ingrid, an accomplished thespian who had mastered over 40 dialects and accents, left to do a film in Canada and Gloria (who replaced her) is a theatre tyro and is now studying the accents her roles require with a private dialogue coach.
• • Several rehearsals are ahead to help work in the new cast members — — and our big tech and dress rehearsal will be on July 17th in the Algonquin Theatre.

The Top Ten Things.........
The other topic we have here about common sense has reminded me of an essay I have long planned to write. What I have in mind is to write up the top ten stupid things that people do. I suppose it would include a paragraph explaining why each is stupid and some brief instructions on how to avoid such stupid behavior in the future.
So, I would like for you to help me make the basic list. Please post one or more really stupid thing that you think is common behavior for people in general. No need to write a lot about it unless you just want to. Mainly, I am first interested in making up a list to use as an outline.
As an example I could start off the list with....
-Using credit cards at 19% interest as a source of revolving credit.
Any other suggestions?
