What are you guys doing. We are staying home doing yard work between showers.
This evening we are building a fire in the outdoor firepit and roast hot dogs and make somemores.
Then spend some time in the hot tub.
Take care all.

Hi Fellow Hoosiers
KNOW EVERYONE IS DOING THEIR OWN THING THIS SUMMER BUT JUST WANT TO DROP IN AND SAY "HI"!! HOPE TO HEAR FROM ONE FOT YOU GUYS SOMETIME!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
Posting
I have notice posting is slow but it's summer and more of us are out and about. Not like winter when we are in side more often.
My daughter and I have been doing our family tree. We have found several revolutionary soldiers on both sides all buried in Knox Co. And my great grandfather's uncle was Blue Jeans Williams governor of the state --- we are almost State Royalty. We are also related to Sir Frances Drake and Vikings on my dad's side.
I know this is probably boring to most of you but it's fun looking through out papers at the State Library.
Anyway that is what we have been doing this summer. Take care all.

We are sending down some water!!!! We only got about 4 inches. About 10 miles south of us the got 10 - 13.
I saw where highway 67 & 50 are closed in places. We will have to go to Louisville on I65 and cut across I64 this weekend to get to Petersburg for the class reunion.
Grandma & Sophia --- hope you both are safe and dry.
Take care.

Our tomato plants have blooms on them already and theya re looking good. We need to atke them as soon as we can. Hubby says thatw hen he gets off work this evening he will do it then!!
Heard about the storms up by Indy!! I know what ti is like after the tornado we had back in 1990 and I feel for people everytime I see where one has hit. I seen about the old covered bridge!! that was a shame!!
How are you other hooisers making it int his hot weather? I can take the heat okay but the humidity and the dew point getting together and making it os miserable I canno take anymore!!
Well you guys all have a great day and stay cool!!!

Hello fellow Hoosiers!! Hope everyone is okay!! we are under a tornado watch until 11:00. Not doing anything right now excetp sprinkling a little bit. Hot and humdit already!! Our garden needs the rain but not any downpours!! Our chances for rain today are 90% so we are sure ato get some before the day is over with!!
Well our grass needs mowed again but we can hardly afford the gas for the mower. It is pretty abd when the gas is so high that it makes it hard for us to mow!! we can hardly afford to go anyplacae very much and don't most of the time.
Well I hope everyone has a great day!!

Inviting Fellow Hoosiers
Hey y'all, come to Irvington this weekend. Saturday, June 7th is Irvington Day where we celebrate our "little town feel within the big city". We've got small shops, new restaurants, antiques. I baked some cookies for a family recipe contest that's being held that day. Sunday will be our first Irvington Farmers Market of the 2008 summer season at Ellenberger Park. Come on down to Irvington, you may see Wacky lurking amongst the festivities.
Hi Hoosiers
Our Holiday week end went well. Have been replanting some of the garden that didn't come up because of the cool wet weather. Several of the farmers around us had to replant their corn because of the weather.
Friday they had several storms north of us we just got wind and rain. The storms seem to take I70 across the state -- I guess the storm systems like taking the fastest way across the state just like us.
All the rain has made the grass grow like crazy we have to mow about every three days. With the price of gas that is getting pretty expensive. It's either mow or go to the grocery.
Take care all let us know how it is going with you.
