Me...I'm from Indy originally but after living in Bloomington for 20 years I can call myself a Bloomingtonian! You only have to be here 5 years for that! I decided that I ought to participate a little more so here I am!

This a sunday greeting....hello all you hoosiers and hillbillies!
still hot hot hot in my neck of the woods..........their is a chance of rain.and I say bring it on..
we need something to cool down things.
to hot to mow today so I am asking friend over for a small cook out!

This one hot summer day!
One hot day in southern Indiana, after all the flooding this heat will surely dry things up a little!
I went to Bloomington today To meet my sisters for lunch (Texas road house).
The heat was terrible!!
But the company was good.
we notice that our Goodys are going out of business.........Not sure what I will do after that!

Might as wel join this group too, as I have been in this state now almost 38 years. Will there ever be a tropical time left to see palm trees and beaches, minus the hurricanes for me? Probably not, 'cause the husband is from In. and he would never dream of laeving. We might break away and go to Arizona because we have not been in that direction yet in the motorhome. Florida every time for me until my 84 year old mother leaves this world.
Sunday blues!
I have a case of the lazies today,, due to my weekend activity.
maybe to many fireworks, cookouts ,gatherings, etc altho I had a great weekend.
I am tired today...
Our 4-H fair starts tonight,, but I don't think I am going to go.

rainy and beautiful
It's raining again. I like rainy days and so do the weeds in my yard, they are huge. I'm going to try to mow and do some trimming in between storms today. Wish me luck.

It is cool and rainy here today .( no sun in sight)
so we couldn't have the parade.
