Hey Ya'll

Check this guy out, Fret Killer. Been keeping up with what he's doing for a year or so now, never seen his face, he's in Long Island, picks all kind of tunes and is certainly worth the time. I do several of the songs he does, but, you know what I mean. Check him out, he must 40 or more tunes on you tube.

Hey peoples. This is for the newbies and some of us who may have forgot!

Lot of good music videos have been posted in this group. So take a look back through the previous postings. You'll find rock, country, pop, classical....... anything your heart could desire. Big name artists, no name artists, artists from foreign countries. The best guitarists and bassists in the world are there.

Scales

Any one have some good sites for teaching the scales. I really need start practicing instead of messing around with song to song to song. If you know of a good program, please let me know. I like blues, country, rock, classical...etc. Most all music except rap and heavy metal. Thanks.

Howdy Ya'll...

Pete thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah... I joined several groups today, I'll see which ones I mesh with the best and yak their ears off... :) I'm pretty diverse. Computer geek, artist, musician, writer, mommy, etc...

I play eight musical instruments by ear...(no kidding) But my favorites are Piano...I love classical...Guitar I enjoy soft rock, twangy old country, ballads, oldies from the seventies. I find most instruments or an offshoot of those two and easy to pick up. I'm not good with wind instruments except my own set of pipes. :D

My favorite musical genre to sing or listen to is the blues...anything from early on muddy waters, bbking to skynard, elvis, stevie ray...you get the drift...

I am new to my area in NE Oklahoma and would be very interested in finding a local band who needs a female vocalist. I am a soprano. I would be willing to learn new material, anything but hard rock...

For now, I'm here to rub elbows with oldies but goodies...:)
