The Boathouse for All Campaign
Free Radical Creative is proud to present a Visible Appeal on behalf of the "Boathouse for All Campaign" of Community Rowing, Inc, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Please watch the film, visit the Community Rowing, Inc. website, and share their story with your friends if you support their cause. (You will find the link to their Visible Appeal on the video section of the Free Radical Creative group page, or here: view link )
Visible Appeals are distributed through word of mouth on social network websites. It is a low cost tool to generate grass roots support for non profit organizations and improve their constituency building and fundraising results.
I welcome any and all comments.
Thanks,
Ted.

Creative Lady Needs Help to Help Others
Hi. I am looking for people who want to help women with little or no money to become financially self-sustaining through "Creative Women Workshops" through our collaborative Community In Action. If you are a creative person, enjoy teaching and helping others, please contact me for more info about how you can be the instrument of significant change in women's lives. I also have a 'needs list' for some supplies the women can use to practice with making basic jewelry, polymer clay gift items, sew and non-sew crafting and more in the free full day creative workshops I am coordinating for women in groups of 20-50 or more on Saturdays. Many of the items on the 'needs list' could be surplus or recycled craft items you or your friends may have at home. You can do something similar in your communities, too. Let's join together to improve people's lives and the communities in which we live! Thanks, I appreciate whatever help you can give. DenaB
What IS a"'worthwhile group" anyway?
Hmm, let's see... Here's some eons groups now:
Healthy Recipes
Bookoholics
Scrapbooking
FUN CATS
Dachshunds In Control
Football Fans
All "worthwhile" endeavours, I suppose. To me, a group doesn't have to "be worthwhile" to be interesting. It just has to be interesting.
I don't know what this group is about but I certainly find the title "Free Radical Creative" interesting, and that's enough for me. Of course if the group never takes off then it won't be interesting anymore because of the lack of activity. But for now, I'd like to see what is in the mind of the person who created this group.
Maybe it's like a free-association thing where people come in and *gasp* post whatever pops into their conscious mind. Who knows?

Is this some kind of joke?
There are many worthwhile groups out there. What is your mission statement?
