Hello

I just joined the group. I've had a couple Yorkies and just love them to bits. My Jojo is a yorkie rescue and he's about 2-1/2. Just wanted to say "Hi" and see what's goin' on over here.

Alas, my Angel will soon need another dental. I despair that she will probably have more teeth extracted. She's had 9 removed during the last cleaning. And all this despite sticking to a regimen of teeth cleaning, but the tartar and plaque have built up so. How are your yorkies doing in terms of their teeth?

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a good holiday season and a good New Years. Hopefully, weather hasn't been too bad in your part of the world. Here in Texas we're having a mild winter; this weekend we should be up in the 70's again before a cold front moves in next week. I could see this kind of weather down around Houston, but here in Dallas, it's a bit unusual.

Anyway, it's a sad time for us right now. Yesterday our elderly poodle Morgana crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and ti's had an impact on us and our furkids, last night being the worst of it. Better for Morgana, but sad for us. But, we're looking forward to spending the New Year with our other four furkids.

Quiet Group

Boy, we have to get this group growing and posting! It's too quiet here!

Howdy! My name is Jason and my wife and I are Yorkie lovers. We aren't the obsessed kind of Yorkie lovers, buying everything Yorkie, but we do love our little furkids. Jeremy and Mandy were our first two Yorkies; they were half brother and sister and 10 months apart in age. Sadly, we lost both of them - Jeremy in November 2005 and Mandy in February 2004. But, we currently have Bailey, who is 6, Bentley, who is a Snorkie and is 14 months, and Sasha, our little 6 month old YorkiePoo, who is Bentley's bestest friend in the whole world. These three, along with our elderly Chihuahua Romeo and elderly Poodle Morgana, keep us on our toes - there is never a dull moment in our household!

So, hello, hi, glad to be here, how are ya'll doing, and how's the furkids!?
