Eons Artists Gallery
This is a site whereby all Eons Artists can post their completed Art for display purposes. The primary goal of this group is simply to build a comprehensive portfolio of images created by Eons Artists for the entire Eons population to view and consider.

The Eons Artists Gallery
Since the Eons Art Gallery was intended to be the site for Eons Artists to post their Art "For Sale", it was determined that an additional site was needed for Eons Artists to display their completed art, past and present, as examples of their technique as a comprehensive portfolio of Eons Artists. This is that site.
I encourage all Eons Artists, those who are just beginning to explore their own personal visions of the world through pigment and medium, those of you who have experimented with art and are just beginning to develop a lasting technique, and those Artists who have not only found their calling, but are doing so daily for fun or profit- all of you, to post as many images as you wish to share with the Eons general population, and with your peers.
I invite you to post a comment with each image, tell us the size, the medium, and if you so desire, invite the others to give you constructive criticism. You are welcomed also to post a general notice, and to invite others to engage in a discourse of matters concerning art.
For those of you who are just learning, I also invite you to join the Eons Art School

Relax, view the art collection. Who knows? One specific image posted by another may be a source of inspiration, or may bring forth a question concerning the use of color, or brush stroke, and by all means send the artist a personal communication or post a question to that specific artist or to all the members of this group. Encourage you friends in other groups and your peers in other "art related" Eons groups to visit here and to post their own works,

I just deleted a few photos at random from the group photo section and thankfully, it DOES NOT also remove them from your individual album.
To view your album click on "view more photos". Please take the time and delete the duplicates in the "group photos. To do that you simply click on your photo and when it enlarges, you'll see in the upper right hand tan window a place to "delete photo".
In the future, all you'd need to do is to either place a new photo in the group section, await comments,and after a time, then drag and drop it into your own personal album. Nothing could be simpler.
If you're new to this group, you can create your own album and it will join the list of members already there.

new gourds
I posted pictures of three new gourds, all small ones. The tiny one called The woodcutters wife, is 2" tall. She won a blue ribbon in the Indiana gourd show. The princess is about 4" tall. Both of these were done with pyrography and a little marker for color. The Paisley gourd is 6" tall and also done in pyrography but I added a little colored pencil to create subtle colors.

Hi All,
Lest you think I've expired from this life and gone to meet
my deceased family members, I've posted an illustration for
one of my many unpublished short stories. This was done
without models based on what I imagined as I created the
story. I have many such illustrations, and may add color

bunny gourd
I've posted pictures of the gourd I just finished. I did the whole thing in pyrography with gourd dyes rubbed on and a little marker and colored pencil. I just need to seal it but I'm happy with how it turned out.

eons artists gallery
this is a great place to place as many of pictures you have at one time. and it is a pleasure to just to go through and look.
Conversation
I really don't see a little conversation in this group as being detrimental. Groups without any activity really don't get any attention.
Wall space is fine, but no one will see the art if nothing is going on.
If people are not interested in comments, I understand that,and they could post something stating that, or ignore comments that might be made, but some of us are interested, and do enjoy seeing what others think.
What about it Robert? Can we have comments or conversation sometimes here? If others are interested that is? I think the nicest thing is being able to see unlimited postings for artists- it really is a lot of fun to see a good sampling. Just as much fun to see new postings too :-) Maybe Eons will get the sort by member at some point too- who knows.
Having some place to post, besides my profile, is motivating for me too, but I really do enjoy comments in a social context. Maybe that feel of walking through a gallery during an opening, drinking a glass of wine :-)virtually speaking of course :-)
If we want critiques, I agree, we can go to the Eons Art School or any one of a number of most excellent art groups at Eons.
