A Reminder!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It looks like people are actively planning cruises for next year. Let's hope the economy improves so we can cruise even more! We all know how addictive it is!
For any new members of this group....

New Cruise

We just book our next cruise on Carnival's Legend out of Tampa on Jan. 11, 2009. It is a fund raiser for the local Lions Club thru Carlison. They opened it to the public and I can't believe there low group rates. It is going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel,Belize and Roatan Island Honduras. I could not believe a balacony for less than $895.00 Which includes all taxes, fees and fuel surcharges and they have a few cabins left. I can hardley wait. This will be our 12 cruise in the last 13 years.

traveler in search of a cruise

Hi, I am looking for a last minute group cruise with a good mix of couples and singles so I don't feel too fifth wheelish. Know of anything? Caribbean, Mediterranean, anything but Alaska. Thanks!

second cruise

We are new to the Cruise life and loved our first experience last year, a HAL trip around New Zealand. This year we are cruising to Europe departing from Boston, then following the old Viking route to Rotterdam. We are joining an Elderhostel group on board ship, because we have had good experiences with this organization with their short land activities(1 day events in and around Boston) Have any of you done anything with Elderhostel on this kind of trip? I'd like to hear from you- I like to be as prepared as I can be--since we have never gone on an 'organized' tour like this in all our travels over the years. Let's hear it from you all!
Thanks.

Crazy Cruiser!

Hi all!
I was so excited to find this group!!! I confess, I am a slave to my addictions and I'm addicted to cruising. All in the Caribbean, save one, and usually ALWAYS with Royal Caribbean. I've tried Carnival...ah...alright and as soon as the Gransons get old enough, it's off on Disney we go!
My all time favorite, trip of a lifetime was flying to London for a week in a beautiful hotel in Whitehall, my balcony overlooking the Thames, then transatlantic on the Queen Mary. Six glorious days of feasting, dancing, dreaming, living the life of the Queen. I'd never be able to afford it again, but it was worth every overtime and budget scrimping.
Cruising...just a quickie to Key West & Cozumel..... this September, bringing my nephew before his senior year, so all his life he may remember his "Crazy Aunt Bonny"!
I look forward to this group &, just maybe, I can cruise with new crazy friends!
