HAPPY MONDAY
I HAD A GREAT WEEKEND SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE WAS SO FILLED WITH THE LORD. I DO HOWEVER FEEL SORRY FOR THE ONES WHO CHOSE TO SLEEP IN SUNDAY MORNING AND THEN THEY WERE TO BUSY FOR CHURCH ON SUNDAY NIGHT. I AM VERY THANKFUL THAT OUR LORD IS NEVER TO BUSY FOR US, THINK WHERE WE WOOD BE IF WE DIDNT HAVE TIME FOR HIM. I PRAY THE LORD WILL WALK BESIDE YOU ALL WEEK AND KEEP YOU IN HIS LOVING ARMS.

What a wonderful 3 day weekend I have had. Spent some time with family, friends and neighbors. I hope the same for all of you. Enjoy and come back refreshed in the Lord.
God is Awesome!
I just got an email from a friend I met on Eons in a widows group. She and I lost our husbands a few months from each other. We learned we both lived in Riverside and met for lunch one day to visit.
I emailed her over the weekend to tell her God had moved me to a new church fellowship that has several outreach ministries and I wanted to get involved because I felt my life was stagnant, and I know that isn't what God wants for us. She had also decided to visit a church her neighbors attended because things happened in her church she was not happy about. Come to find out, we have been drawn to the same church!
Isn't God awesome! Sometimes He will allow us to go thorugh difficult times just so we can see what He has for us and because we are dealing with emotions and issues from what is taking place, we will move on into the very place He has planned for us!

GOOD FOR A SMILE

A mom was concerned about her kindergarten son walking to school. He didn't want his mother to walk with him.
She wanted to give him the feeling that he had some independence but yet know that he was safe. So she had an idea of how to handle it.
She asked a neighbor if she would please follow him to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so he probably wouldn't notice her. She said that since she was up early with her toddler anyway, it would be a good way for them to get some exercise as well, so she agreed. The next school day, the neighbor and her little girl set out following behind Timmy as he walked to school with another neighbor girl he knew. She did this for the whole week. As the two walked and chatted, kicking stones and twigs, Timmy's little friend noticed the same lady was following them as she seemed to do every day all week.
Finally she said to Timmy, "Have you noticed that lady following us to school all week? Do you know her?"
Timmy nonchalantly replied, "Yeah, I know who she is."
The little girl said, "Well, who is she?"
"That's just Shirley Goodnest," Timmy replied, "and her daughter Marcy."
"Shirley Goodnest? Who is she and why is she following us? "
"Well," Timmy explained, "every night my Mom makes me say the 23rd Psalm with my prayers, 'cuz she worries about me so much. And in the Psalm, it says, 'Shirley Goodnest and Marcy shall follow me all the days of my life', so I guess I'll just have to get used to it!"
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace. May "Shirley Goodnest and Marcy" be with you today and always.
Psalms 23:6 ~ "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Good Morning, It's Monday
I just joined your group and look forward to talking with you all. I will be leaving for California tomorrow hopefully to visit with my 90 year old day. He is a retired minister and still goes to church, teaches Sunday School, etc.
I was raised in the church and every Sunday, Wednesday night and revivals we were always there early than most people. Do you know what sounds an empty building makes?
I even tried playing? the piano when the piano player wasn't there on Sunday mornings.
I would appreciate you keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. We are going through some valleys right now. No food, we have been living on hot cereal, spaghetti. Most things have been turned off, no car. Lots of stress as the high blood pressure will attest and laid off from work after 11 1/2 years. Thats why I am going to see my day by myself, to unwind.

Thanking God
I just want to give God Thank for all he has done for me. I have been fighting cancer for two and half yrs now. I went to the doctor last Tuesday and found out that the cancer is in remission. I know there is only one person responible for that and that is the good Lord above. Don't let things get you down. There is always someone walking beside you. He may not answer prayers when we want him to or the way we want but I know in my heart he does answer them. God be with you all and have a great day.

Good morning the Lord Blessed us with a great vacation and I am back. Missed being on with you all, but I got to be with some of my family and I thank God for allowing that to happen. OUR GOD IS A GREAT GOD I am thankful for all of you and I hope the Lord Blesses you this week.
