I wanted to say HI to all the new members and welcome them to the group. Jump in and post when you feel like it. It is going to be hotter than H*** today in the SF bay area and I am going to find an air conditioned pub to enjoy.. Stay cool.

Best So CA 4th
Drove down I5 to 55 West to MacArthur Blvd to PCH & Corona del Mar.
& had that night Seafood Feast: lobster, shrimp, crab legs, corn, potatoes, wine, & then too see from home in Corona Del Mar: 4 Fireworks: Dana Pt, Corona del Mar ( very close by, concussion set off car alarms,) Newport Beach & Angels Stadium.
Then next day, saw the Soviet Sub SCORPION for day & that night the Angels Game in Anahiem & dined on chicken salad & margarita in the Club Level overlooking the whole Field.
Angles Lost the Game.
FYI Ideas for your next 4th.
Touring the Scorpion sub is about hour.
Cold War relic next to Queen Mary Complex.

& the weather was mild & warm the whole time, about 65% humidity level.
Never saw the beach once.
Take walking tour of Corona Del Mar area.
Unique shops & dining alone.
Many Ferraris,Porsches, BMWs in area & Range Rovers.
Everyone is friendly & says HI.
Wow in So CA.
The seafood was Steamed.
U tear apart the crab legs.
This is So CA living.

o Liberals in DC
o Environmentalist groups who say NO to Drilling, Nuclear, Wind & Solar use.
o DC policies
o Voters dont Take Charge.

Hi Everyone
I would like to know if anyone would like to take over managing this group.
Recently, my elderly father has had his leg amputated. He has been a diabetic for many years. I have been involved with his medical care and I am still going to college. My classes are in full swing and are taking all of my time.
Please let me know if you feel like you have the time to manage the group. Otherwise, I will remain manager but my activity will not be strong for a long time.
Please send me a PM if you are interested in managing and I will let you know all about it. Really it isn't that difficult of a job now that we have grown and our group is a semi-private group.

Fires in California
What with over 700 wildfires now burning in California how can any of us not notice the hazy, smoky atmosphere. The one closest to me is in Napa county but clearly our dear state is in a state of fiery fury. Much gratitude to the relentless firefighters and I hope all of you and yours are out of harms way.
