Summertime
Summertime and the living is easy! I remember a song that had this line in it. When I was living at home and had no worries, it gave me a huge jolt of excitement.
Now, I still get a kick out of it. And after the grass is mowed, the garden and flower beds weeded and the windows washed, I do kick back and admire my work. After all, it is summer and the living is easy.

Just want to say, Hi. Born, raised and still live in OHIO. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. My family will be spending most of the weekend at Buckeye Lake, boating and jet skiing. Don't worry, we will not miss the OHIO STATE game. GO BUCKS!
Dont get Bucks games much down here
Stopping in to say hi and to cheer on the Bucks. I dont get Buckeye games here. We are in the SEC, people are either Clemson or USC Gamecocks fans. Dont stop me from wearing my OSU hat. Anyone care to send me a Buckeye Sweatshirt ;=)
Most of the time I miss Ohio, but then again not the long cold winters. Winters here are short and mild compared to what I am used to. Do miss my grandkids tho.

Hi Everybody! Long time--no see..........
It's been a while since I posted in this group. I was'nt feeling very well, but let's forget that, Ohio's more important, right? RIGHT! I've been thinking a lot about my mother lately. When I mentioned Euclid Beach, she came right into my mind. Do you remember the man and woman laughing dummies they had in the enclosed glass? My mother could not pass that display without almost wetting herself, she would laugh so hard. I was pretty young when I first saw it and I thought she hurt herself or something. It scared me so bad at that age, I would'nt even go close to it until I got older. Funny now, but it was'nt then. But, I still loved that park, as long as I did'nt have to go near those crazy "people".(LOL) When my husband(Joe)and I got married, we took my mom almost everywhere with us. Did any of you ever ride in that beautiful wooden boat they had at Geauga Lake? Gosh that boat was fast! And really nice too! My mind races from one place to another about Ohio. It's going to be fall pretty soon, and I can see all the beautiful colors of the trees, and I can smell the clean fresh air! Yes, even in Cleveland! (LOL) (well, we used to have clean air there. I don't know what it's like now.)I have to stop by my other groups, so you all enjoy your weekend!! Big Mushy Bear Hugs,--------Judy

The building was the swim house the grass was the swimming pool.The was where I had my first job.
Where my grandchildren are playing was an airplane with a big slide over the top.
Lots of others things has changed in Brooklyn also.
