Welcome to the Body, Mind and Spirit Group

This group was designed as a place for us to explore together how to integrate our body, mind, and spirit.

Everyone wants to lead a healthy, satisfying, meaningful life. But how do you do it? At Omega, we believe it has to do with integrating your body, mind, and spirit. This means paying attention to all three aspects in your life, listening to their needs and desires, and acting in ways that give you a sense of wholeness and balance.

This journey of personal growth and self exploration is as rewarding as it is important. To the degree that you respect and care for your own life —in its totality— you will respect and care for the lives of those around you, as well as the earth we all share. At Omega, we like to say we are changing the world one person at a time.

Balance

I find that life is a balancing act that requires some discipline and work. When you're able to get some reasonable balance, life flows and we feel happier. Good luck, Gustavo

I am Home

Hi, all-
Finding a balance in my life will most likely entail alot of time, but I think I'm up for it. D.D.'s message about moving along with purpose and intention in your life hit home with me. This has always been a difficult thing for me to do no matter what the circumstance. I lack perseverance and determination it seems. I find that in most things I attempt I rarely follow through.
I'd appreciate any suggestions, comments or replies.

Moving forward with intention

Having spent the last 2 years battling my husband's melanoma cancer and becoming a widow, living as a widow, trying to regain my life, I have found the challenge of moving forward with intention to be, at times, difficult. I, as most, went through periods of questioning, dispair, and self-pity, but have always been able to eventually come back to the same spot...moving forward with intention. By doing what I needed to do at the time to re-ground myself, I have been able to honor my husband's memory best by turning myself forward towards life. Has it been easy? Absolutely not!! But has it made this journey bearable? Absolutely yes!

So my message to all here has to do with facing adversity in our life, dealing with it and intentionally moving forward. No one can do it for us.....it has to come from within our own strengths (as well as weaknesses) and the need to honor those around us, those gone, and ourselves.

So when things look the blackest - move forward with intention towards the light and let yourself re-enter life!

Good Morning!

It's great to see a group on this topic. I look forward to seeing some of the posts. I wonder if anyone in this group has ever heard of Tony Robbins? Mind, body spirit oneness makes me think of him. If you have ever done one of his firewalks from years ago you would know what I mean. I would love to talk with someone about the fire walk. It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

hello!

Listening to yourself is so important. So many people ignore what their body is saying, or what they feel in their gut, and so many people deny themselves a happy, amazing life. I agree that we must focus on ourselves as a whole, and actually listen to what our bodies, minds, and souls tell us everyday.

Have a beautiful day!
