Not sure

Hi, I am not working for the first time in many years.I now have the time to do something for extra money that I might enjoy. Trouble is, I don't know where to start. I am a dog groomer by trade. Not very practical as a part time business. Besides can't do it physically any more.

As for crafts, I am a Jack of All Trades Master of None. I Can do ceramics, some painting, many kinds of needle work, some sewing and jewelry making. BUT I don't think I am good enough at any one of them to sell them.

Maybe another route would be better, I just don't know where to start as my skills are hands-on work. Not office type stuff.

I hope there will be some ideas in here. If I sound confused, I am. LOL

IDEAS
I think I may be onto something here. I have a teaching degree and school is starting all too soon. I could tutor in my home. Also the local junrio college here teaches a class in medical transcription and I could easily tutor students. I think also I could online consultation for med trans. It is a start. Thanks for your brainstorming with me. Cay

Looking

Hi all! I,ve introduced myself before, but I wanted to let everyone know what I,m looking for. I,m a retired nurse living on Social Security and I could really use the extra money, so I,m basically looking for some kind of job online I can do from home. No selling please and I don,t want to leave my home unless its to go to the post office to mail things. If anyone knows of a legitimate job online that doesn,t require money upfront please let me know. Thank you all in advance.------Donna

But it is also the way a business grows from nothing. The creativity of the business owner is essential.

Let's see how creative you are. Take the test:

I used to tell myself that I wasn't very creative. And you know what? I wasn't. I picked up the book, 'A Kick in the Seat of the Pants' by Roger Von Oech. In it, he says that we are what we tell ourselves we are. So if we keep telling ourselves we are not creative, we won't be. We have to start telling ourselves that we ARE creative, and give a lot of great information on how to be creative. I highly recommend the book.

Your business that you want to start, or to grow if you already have started one, needs creativity. So give yourselves a kick in the seat of the pants, and get moving on it.
