What's Happening?

Well, its after the break and;
The rays are still in 1st
The Mets are tied for 1st
Marlins one game out
Brewers only 2-1/2 behind Cubs
Yankess within 6 of Rays
Arizona and Bums tied for 1st-both with losing records
Angels walk away with it again

I've lost touch ...

I've been away on a couple vacations & then recovering from said vacations ... so I feel like I'm behind on my baseball ... guess when I'm done watching the 'Dog Whisperer' I be tuning into some team's game ... PLAY BALL!

Old Timers' Game

Does anyone remember the Old Timers Games? I think they used to be the night before the All Star Game. I was real young the last time I saw one on TV, but I remember looking forward to it each year. I wish they'd bring that back in place of the the home run derby. Don't the Yankees still have one each year? But the ones I remember were players from all teams, like the retirees version of the All Star Game.

Hey Everybody,

This has nothing to do with any sport, let alone baseball. Mamma Mia is a must see movie - better than the Broadway Play. YOu haven't lived until you hear Pierce Brosnan sing. Grab a friend see this movie.

all star stuff

were they out or safe???? and what about letting the allstar game go back to it's roots... let the world series home field advantage be decided by the inter-league win/loss total....do you think they should adds pitchers to use in an "emergency" only... what about more regular players for depth on the bench.... starters have to go at least 3 innings....relievers must pitch complete inning unless they are getting bombed of course... earlier start for games....or do the pregame stuff way earlier and have the game start right on time like right at 9 pm.... all this was the point of discussion on fox and espn sports radio on wednesday
