Welcome to Astronomy for Everyone

This group was created for anyone who is interested in astronomy. It doesn't matter what your educational level is, whether you're a professional astronomer, an amateur astronomer or just someone who loves looking up at the night sky and would like to know more about what's out there.

Do not be afraid to ask questions. That's what we're here for. If I or someone else does not know the answer to a particular question, then we'll do our best to find the answer for you or direct you to a reference where you may find the answer yourself.

Above all, have fun! If you're not having fun, then you're not doing it right.

Shuttle Landing.. Ways you can view a lift off

The Shuttle landed today! I just posted a blog on my tips for going to an upcoming launch with links to helpful sites. One of the Shuttle missions will be to visit the HUBBLE TELESCOPE ! I hope everyone who enjoys space, can go to a launch and experience it first hand before the shuttles are retired!

Just the exposure helps.

Welcome Jloms to our group. For many years (going back over 50) I only had cheap binoculars. What turned me on was I had a world class planetarium to visit back then. hope you have many years of good viewing.

Hello, I'm new in this group. I don't own any fancy equipment, not even a cheap telescope. All I have are my eyes, an old binoculars, and a love of the night sky. I grew up on a farm and would often sleep outside. What a view of the sky! I miss those days, here in the city where all you can see is the brighter stars, planets, and constellations.
