For hippies, counterculturists, and anyone else who used, and still uses, marijuana for recreational and/or health reasons. Is it legal in your state? Do you favor legalization or decriminalization? Do you have a medical pot prescription? What about the "War on Drugs"? Share your pot stories! Membership is limited to those born in 1964 or earlier. MUST accept/allow a "Private Message" ("pm").
Guidelines
As long as it's marijuana-related, it's suitable for this forum. News, cultivation, legislation, medicinal use, recipes, sources for smoking equipment and seeds, "the first time I got stoned" stories (from the serious to the hilarious), graphics, tunes, etc., can all be posted here, as long as they're about pot. I encourage ALL Old Tokers to participate in pot politics, as well as enlightening the group with your "expert advice," no matter what aspect of pot you're knowledgeable in; and constantly learning from one another. The group is NOT about any other substances, like cocaine, alcohol, tobacco, psychedelics, prescription pills, etc. Part of this "restriction" is because marijuana is NOT ADDICTIVE, so here we start from the premise that there's no need for "substance abuse" posts. Keep the focus strictly on marijuana! 4-letter swear words are acceptable, from time-to-time, but make that kind of vocabulary the "exception," not the "rule." The group has a "positive" ambience, so keep your negative "rants" to a minimum. Additionally, mean-spiritedness will NOT be tolerated. The group practices what I call the "hippie ethic" of peace, love, and understanding... along with a healthy dose of humor. Think of Old Tokers as an "oasis" for pot lovers, where the natives are friendly, and EVERYONE enjoys "Mother Marijuana"!
